Glad to hear that. May he pass along his scoring touch to Jeff Carter. In some ways, Carter reminds me of a modern day Bernie Nicholls. A primary center who can also play wing (as Bernie used to do from time to time). Just like Bernie, Carter has a rocket of a shot and he's a shoot first player (just as Bernie was). I think a full year of Carter is going to work wonders for the Kings' offense.
He's basically an assistant coach sans the job title. He travels with the team and you can even see him standing behind the bench in the hallway sometimes. Players seem to like him and he seems to really enjoy being around them as well.
