The Del Zotto idea has me intrigued, although I'm not quite sure how to grow out my hair like that. All I know is it requires a lot of mousse

Your hair looks good. I'm jealous, it looks thick. Mine is so ******* sparse. I'd suggest cutting it shorter, fade the sides into the top, and try to style it somewhat on top. Endless possibilities with thick hair.

Cresty and Kershaw, I thank you. You've inspired me to go back to long hair, although when I was younger, I never styled it, but now I can definitely rock it. My hair isn't long enough, but it's almost there.

I'm thinking if I let it grow for another two weeks or so, it could start looking real nice. Thanks guys

My apologies. Just really want opinions on my hair. I've been frustrated with it for quite some time. I'll stop posting pics.

So anyway, anybody else feel like they totally nerfed the poke check in this NHL13 demo?

Nerfed? hell no, they upgraded it. Poke checking is much easier and the AI does it for you if you're in good position defensively. You'll also notice when you circle back up ice with your forwards to go back into the neutral zone, your player will dangle his stick to break up a pass at the blueline and take it back into the offensive zone. I've gotten multiple breakaways from that.

Like this, although Callahan would have to be coming out of Metallurg's zone, get the puck, and turn around back towards the net. I assume you understand what I'm saying:

Also, I love the addition of being able to chop the puck. Leads to quick breakouts and helps push the puck towards a teammate if you don't think you can control the puck safely without getting checked.

No problem dude! Although, I never rocked the long hair in my life. Or used gel. Just combed my hair every singly day.

Same as NHL 12. Hold right stick to either the left or right (forehand/backhand depending on handedness), and when the ref starts to drop the puck, slide the stick down for a clean draw or push it up to win it with your skate or body.

I know I've been doing that but I lost literally ever single draw.

It happens. Depends on what mood the game is in. I'll play games where I win every draw and then the next game I go 1-for-25 on draws. It's retarded.

I guess it's like how some games you'll kick the computer's ass 7-1 and other games you barely win 3-2 or 4-3, or even lose (I play on All-Star) (Superstar when I'm in the mood for a nice 2-1, hard fought win).

Even though the game is set on a difficulty level, it doesn't always reflect it, I guess is what I'm saying.

If it helps as an incentive, Lundqvist will be at the dog walk on September 9th with his dog.

Henrik Lundqvist ‏@HLundqvist30
Hope to see a lot of people Sep 9th to support @JohnTortorella2 #NYRDogWalk. http://rangers.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=81900 … We will be there!! pic.twitter.com/nvb1UwAt

I'm sure you can get a picture with him. I'm going, hopefully I'll get a pic with him, my dog and his dog. That would just be so awesome.

I like how NHL 13 is a lot less perfect in terms of gameplay. More broken plays. Skating is really nice too.

Just dropping by to say I'm loving the NHL 13 demo so far. The skating engine is going to take a while to get used to, but it's leaps and bounds better than all past games. Discipline is going to be very important, as well as maintaining gap control on D. It actually feels like I'm thinking in a real game situation.

I was playing the demo for a few hours and the new skating mechanic is really fun. Literally spent 2 hours playing as Kopitar and testing out the new skating stride. I love it, but it's going to be tough to adjust.

On the other hand, I played NHL11 online immediately after and the games are much different. I let in too many soft chances/garbage goals on my game that I'm so used to stopping.

Del Zotto is probably adored the most by the young, teenage, female Ranger fans. To the point where it gets creepy.

I joke. For some reason, when you guys were talking about the DZ hairstyle, I was imagining his rookie year's flow

Actors you have never heard of? Yes. Small budget? Yup. Cliched story? You betcha'.

This is the best action movie released in America this year. It's not American, and hell, it was actually made last year, but it ***** all over anything out of Hollywood in the last ten years easy. Anything.

It is literally 100 minutes of guns and top tier martial arts choreography.

It is on Zune for rent via 360. Blockbuster kiosks have it too.
I watched this movie in a Sneak Preview here in Germany last month.
Some of my friends left the cinema after about 15 Minutes.
I liked the movie, although some of the fighting scenes ("great final") are much much too long and unreal (okay, we shouldn't speak about realism here)

This movie nearly got no approval to be shown here in Germany because of it's brutality
If you compare how low their budget for the movie was (1.1 million), this has really not to hide behind other movies ...

I spent 29 years trying to get my hair to do what I wanted it to do. When I turned 30, and met my wife, I let my hair do what it wanted to do.

That made all the difference.

Since I'm on a Hong Kong kick lately -

The follow two clips are from what are widely considered to be Jackie Chan's finest hour: Drunken Master 2 (Legend of the Drunken Master as it is known here in the states).
A true master of his craft at his peak. The stunts and fight scenes in this movie will likely never be equaled.

The videos actually end about :20 seconds before the time says. They run ads at the end.

Best scene in the movie? No. That honor goes to the last 20 minutes, which if you have not seen it, will literally blow your ****ing mind. I have seen it at least 50 times. It never gets old.

Yes. Legend of the Drunken Master is most likely the greatest martial arts film ever made. It is also a pretty good movie overall. Very funny, and some great character development.
