Isn't that a bit cliche? Why don't you want something interesting? How about David makes Jim the manager and forces him to fire the worst salesperson for a quarter, to consolidate accounts and trim costs, and it turns out to be Pam, and he has to either fire Pam or quit, and in the final scene of the final episode, Jim brings Pam into his office, tells her with tears in his eyes that he has to let her go, and the final minute is both of them crying uncontrollably, and then the credits play to complete silence.
It's interesting, don't know if I like it, but I always assumed Michael and Holly's wedding would be covered.
But the most likely way to end it would presumably be the company going under/sold/office closing/etc.
No, the show had some amazing moments even after Pam/Jim got together. All that did was make Pam less likable and Jim's become a bit of a ***** recently but the show still produced good episodes here and there sometimes consistently. The fault had more to do with them bringing on annoying characters or giving too much air time to certain ones (especially recently, Robert California, Kathy Bates' role, Nellie)
There were two direct, terrible side effects to Jim and Pam getting together: Jim became less of a goofy likeable prankster and more of a smug ******, and Pam looks...well, like she had two kids.

Well the problem was Pam was good as that shy, not really talkative girl who played straight receptionist to Michael's antics.
Once she tried to come alive and such, she became annoying and no longer likeable. I definitely agree with Jim completely losing his "funny hijinks guy" persona and becoming an "office bully" guy. He is in his mid 30s with a family and high-responsibility job. His pranks on Dwight simply look juvenile at this point.
She was actually pretty cute as a cheerleader . As for the show, it's a couple seasons too late. I quit watching after Michael left and have caught a few episodes here and there on planes or channel surfing. It's not the same show... That said, I will come back for the series finale. I spent 6 years watching this show, I may as well give them the time to close things out.
I saw two great posts on Reddit about potential endings:
One was having them putting all the footage together and then have all of the cast from the show watching and having Michael saying something like "Yeah right, if that ever makes it to television let me know."
The other one had it ending with Darryl playing some random crap on his keyboard for the producers then coming up with the actual theme song.
Both of those would be really cool, in my opinion.

That would be an amazing ending in my opinion. Acting as if Darryl trying to play some song is a sideplot then revealing what it is he was coming up with.
