To be honest, none.

OKC would be an ok one though, or it could be with their fan base.

Astros, Rockets, Texans. What are the other 5?

Chicago has the Cubs, Sox, Bulls, and Bears.

The Bay area has the 49'ers, Raiders, A's, Giants and Warriors.

LA and Anaheim has the Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers and Angels.

New York has too many to name.

It doesn't stop hockey from being successful though.

I bet Dallas Cowboys, University of Texas Football, University of Houston Football, MLS Soccer and maybe Texas A&M Football all have much larger fanbases in Houston than a Hockey team would

How is that any different than the SD Chargers, SAC Kings, SD Padres, LA Galaxy, SJ Earthquake, Chivas USA, numerous minor league and womens sports teams and the 24 university/colleges with NCAA DI programs in California? All that on top of 3 NHL teams.

I can't see the NHL ever expanding beyond 32 teams, if that. I could see six divisions of four teams, if Quebec and Seattle got teams.

Western Conference

Northwest:
Vancouver Canucks
Edmonton Oilers
Calgary Flames
Seattle Seattlers

Pacific:
San Jose Sharks
Los Angeles Kings
Anaheim Ducks
Phoenix Coyotes

Midwest:
Colorado Avalanche
Dallas Stars
St. Louis Blues
Nashville Predators

Central:
Winnipeg Jets
Minnesota Wild
Chicago Blackhawks
Detroit Red Wings

Eastern Conference

Southeast:
Florida Panthers
Tampa Bay Lightning
Carolina Hurricanes
Washington Capitals

Northeast:
Toronto Maple Leafs
Columbus Blue Jackets
Ottawa Senators
Buffalo Sabres

Atlantic:
New Jersey Devils
New York Rangers
Philadelphia Flyers
Pittsburgh Penguins

North:
Quebec City Nordiques
Montreal Canadiens
Boston Bruins
New York Islanders

It's really hard separating the Atlantic into four teams. Who do you remove? Can't remove the Philly-Pittsburgh rivalry and the other three teams have so much history there too... That was difficult!

Because all those teams don't have bigger fanbases than the Kings in LA or Duck in Anaheim or Sharks in San Jose. Not to mention they are bigger markets than and can support more teams

Seattle? Might as well add another team in Phoenix. Typical NHL/Bettman relocation.

You don't honestly believe the nonsense your spewing do you? Somehow California, despite having more NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, and MLS teams (18) per person (37 million) than Texas (10 teams and 25 million people) and more NCAA DI College programs (24 vs 21) can support 3 NHL teams.

But Texas can't support a second team in Houston, the largest city in America without an NHL team, that's also within 200 miles of the second largest (San antonio) and sixth largest (Austin) cities without NHL teams. :
