Agreed. Best one on the team right now. I'm guessing that they will have the pack of 5 sign on for 6M contracts for each prime. (Schultz is the other, not Gagner)

Common man there both gunna be Great and there both Serious talents..not just Eberle...Hall will be a better scorer then Eberle forsure but Ebs will be a better All-Around player.

Funny, most Oiler fans would take Hall over Eberle. But we only get to watch them play every game so what do we know?....

24M 4 years is my prediction.

eberle's already proven himself. His RFA years are worth significantly more than hall's.

I think he'll sign the same contract as Hall.

That's mine as well. I think he matches Hall quite easily.

I'd go long term with Eberle. 6-8 years, maybe even 10 honestly.

He's the type of player you want around for a long, long time.

Ebs isn't signing for less than 6 mil per year. I think it could be the same contract or maybe 5 yrs and $30 mil but I can't see Ebs signing for less

AB has the lowest taxes in Canada. The tax rate is 39%. But AB has a very friendly business environment so Hall or whoever can invest in businesses and get tax break and then get a much friendlier tax rate through business income

Should these guys really make that much without even getting Edmonton to the playoffs yet?

You're right.

The Oilers should lowball their good players because there are bad players on the team keeping them out of the playoffs.

That'll work well.

Well, just taking a look at the Leafs payroll - yes, I'd say so.

Hopefully they announce it this week sometime, would be nice to have both guys signed and not have to worry about it.

Then we can just get Smid done and we will ready to go.

Is that an organization you'd really wanna model your franchise after?
