The funniest thing is that THN has him projected to hit 80 pts.

So in his second NHL season he managed to score at a PPG rate, yet he's "A 55 point winger" I don't see your logic.

That's because you don't understand the concepts of shooting percentages and sustainability.

they're advanced stats every casual hockey fan should learn about. It'll help your fantasy team!

Right now:

Crosby
Stamkos
Giroux

Are my top 3 going forward.
Put Stamkos on the wing, he is a goalscorer anyways.

Did you watch last Olympics? Bergeron looked like he barely belonged and didn't even get icetime, while Richards was one of our best forwards and centered our best line during the later stages of the tournament.

Bergeron has improved since then and he was injured there, though.

Care to make an avatar bet barring injury Eberle score 65+ points?

No. I don't want to have a vested interest in the Oilers next season.

(Also, your terms suck. You said he was a PPG guy and then proceeded to give yourself a 20 point cushion and an injury escape clause)

I wouldn't want Marchand on the Olympic team either.

You call me out, yet are too afraid to put your money where your mouth is. Good to know! Also earlier you mentioned Eberle to being only a 50 point player, I found common ground between which is 65-70. I called Eberle a PPG because well he scored at a PPG pace last season, what more evidence do I need?

I was wondering when you were going to call me a chicken. Still not biting.

If you'd simmer down on the male bravado, you'd realize I made no such claim on Eberle's point totals. The person who said that was Proto . All I did was introduce you to the concept of shooting percentages. Its especially handy in Fantasy hockey, and helps for identifying which players are snake bitten, who is overachieving, and who will break out/flame out next year.

If he he can fit on the wing then yeah I'd definitely place him with Crosby or Giroux. And there's still Staal, Tavares, Toews, and Seguin that I think could make the team.

We have two years to figure this out though. Can't wait.

God I hope it's the first one. That would be amazing to watch.
