Im having fun with it cause its different, although sometimes my dude will skate backwards on accident right when he gets the puck and then gets knocked off it right away

They need to fix the whole backwards skating thing i think, but I really enjoy the top end speed and how exciting it can be to dust certain defensemen

I love how point shots seem to be a little mor effective too, but I agree passing is really hard and Im worried that is going to make EASHL games have more puck hogs

I guess I'll start the trading block

I would look at a trade for everyone except Getzlaf, Sbisa, Fowler and Perry

I'd like to get in on this but I haven't or don't even know if I willbe buying the game when it comes out.

If I do get it and get involved I'll take the Av's.

I honestly have no clue how this works so if someone could break it down for me...that'd be great

How do we make these trade blocks? As a bit of warning, the Bruins will mainly stand pat right now as we want this team to remain somewhat realistic at least this 1st season. We do need a 3rd line wing....

In essence this is a dynasty just like you would play in any sports games you've ever owned except for the fact that the other teams are controlled by humans. We set up a league on xbox live and play the games. We are able to play them, however, most will be simmed so things like coaching strategy matter. Each season will last a month or so and we're hoping to play 5 or 6 so some of the better prospects become relevant towards the end. It isn't that big of a commitment, really all you have to do if you don't have time to play the actual games is to set your lines and strategy and be the GM of the team.

No set trade block other than what you post here. Its not in the game or anything we are just using the thread to get an idea of what people would deal.

Open to trading DSP but id like to look and see the potential they gave him. I would recommend everyone doing that with the younger players before they agree to trade them. I wouldn't put it past EA to give DSP an A potential

Long time lurker.

This motivated me to sign up. I guess I'll be the one to do it. I'll be Montreal if no one minds!

I'm in college so I have plenty of free time to partake in this.

Gamertag is "SUBLLME" it is two L's but online it looks like SUBLlME. Let me know if there are any issues.

Anyone else think the passing is off in the demo? I'm playing with the Devils for the most part, and miss a lot of wide open guys.

Idk if it is off, or if it is now just more difficult. What I have noticed is that even when trying a saucer pass, it still pretty much gets picked off with ease. Kind fo frustrating since your basically limited to passing to someone who has NO ONE anywhere near him. What I don't really like is the skating right now...seems "laggy" for lack of a better term. Almost like the skater doesn't react to the direction you want him to go until it's too late.

I haven't taken a close look at my team yet, but I do know that I probably won't carry both Vokoun and Fleury.

If anyone needs a good starting goalie, make me an offer!

You probably have played 11 and 12 with passing assist on...that's not on for the demo, they'll probably still have it in the game though

Chicago Blackhawks trade block:
I'm looking for an upgrade in goal (in the 85-89 range)...I have Crawford at 82 overall as my starter. I'll consider a trade for anyone but Keith and Toews, and I'd even look at trading them if you have an awesome goalie (90+).

I'd like a trade that looks something like this:
Your 87 rated goalie and an 82 rated F or D
for
Crawford and my 87 rated F or D

Also looking for an upgrade at LW for the 2nd line, so I'd do (for example) Crawford and Seabrook for an 85-89 goalie and a 80-84 LW

My roster for reference...http://mit.zenfs.com/206/2012/08/Ratings_chicago.jpg

I switch between Rookie and Pro, cuz I'm horrible, so if that's on default on those settings then that's gotta be it.
