Classic!

Maybe after next year's championship the dog will give a knowing nod to the Cup after all.

Here's a question. Will the Kings ever be able to handle the Cup after the names have been inscribed on it? It would suck if you can't even touch it again once all the organization names are finally on it.

The names are added after the summer but before the banner is raised so maybe just for photo ops during the season and maybe the visit with the President?

.

I'd guess they will. Last Oct , Flyers opener was against the Bruins on their SC NBanner raising night and the Cup was there on the ice.

So I guess the Kings will do the same (hopefully not too deep into the year)

Engraving /name trivia-- Henri Richards of the Canadians has his name on that Cup 11 times as a player...that's just amazing...

Players that have won it in th past can also request a day with the Cup for charity work and fundraising, etc. Ranford has done it on at least one occasion (as was mentioned in the article on his day with the cup) and I know for a fact of a few others from the Minnesota area that have made similar requests and had them granted. Don't forget the Cup is basically always on the move. It's away from the Hall about 200 days a year.

Good to see Arnold recovering from his surgery though and looking good. Knees are always tricky in K9s and usually when one goes the other isn't far behind, soit's good to see him bounce back.

Clearly a fake. History channel doesn't show history anymore.

I hope those pointers are supposed to be about scoring ON the ice. Otherwise that sentence there is just ... concerning ...

They had shows about Dieppe this week, so it must have been an off week. Next week they'll go back to non-history shows.

Doughty and Carter get the Cup later this week. The Cup is going to wish it was still with Arnold!

Clifford has it today in Ayr, about 1/2 hour away from me. Trying to figure out if I can find a client I can go see that's in the vicinity!

Doughty and Carter will have the cup in London on Thursday, so just take the day off and drive down. I'm really excited to see the cup tomorrow. My buddy has a picture of Doughty's gold medal from when Doughty's mom brought the medal to his cousin's hockey practice.

They'll get to see it without any time limit issues next June (and July, August, and September).

That is an awesome picture. Richards is an undeniable winner.

This was the morning of game 6 right after morning skate.

Going to post some more when i get em off my phone. Didn't get a whole lot of good ones form ice level. I was in shock/trying to interview/crying/what have you.
