Cody Hodgson by a fair margin. Haven't been impressed with Wilson in any of the games I've caught him in.

I think Wilson will have more to offer when he's fully developed. Not to mention he's already achieved more as a pro as well with Hodgson's injury issues.

Going against the grain with Wilson, just a hunch he will end up better and have a bigger role with his team in the future.

Uhh.. Hodgson's injury issues are no recurring, he just came off of back to back fully healthy seasons. And how has Wilson achieved more as a pro? He's managed back to back ~35 point seasons, that's about it. Hodgson is a year younger, and as a rookie he atleast managed ~40 points.

I say Hodgson for sure, as others have said Wilson hasn't really impressed me much. I have seen some spurts that have looked promising, though.

Wilson and Hodgson are the same age. They were drafted 3 spots apart.

Refering to the first bolded section; yes he has had back to back healthy seasons, this is true, but the injury that occured is not to be taken into account? It reoccured when he hit the boards in the 2009-2010 OHL playoffs, according to Hodgson himself. Backs are tricky things, a bad back at the age of 22 is not a great sign. It's not like he's Benjamin Button in that he'll get more limber and flexible as he grows in age.

As for the second bolded. Seriously? ~5 points is not enough to overcome the fact that Wilson has ~30lbs and the speed advantage when compared to Hodgson.

That being said, I take Wilson now, and again in 10 years. While I would probably prefer Hodgson for his peak, 2 years is not worth a 10+ year career of two way play with only marginally less points for most of it. Hodgson DOES have higher top end potential for points due to his elite vision and shot(And prior history of high point totals for Hodgson but keep in mind they played in different leagues for their junior careers, and much different teams for the WJC), but his physical attributes leave room for concern that he may fade early due to injuries. And also leaves alot to be desired when it comes to the defensive side of the puck, not for lack of effort or lack of defensive ability, but more so who do you think is coming out of the corner with the puck, the 215lb guy, or the 185lb guy? What about infront of the net? Its not just about weight I understand, but size does play a factor. Being a center defensively requires size(to win the puck battle) or speed(to avoid the puck battle due to lack of size) or both, and currently Hodgson has niether.

There was a reason Wilson was drafted before Hodgson. Don't get me wrong I like Hodgson, he is a good prospect, but imo Wilson is an even better prospect, and so too did the goal starved Nashville Predators.

Neither player has really impressed me. I expected more from Wilson going into the NHL than i did Hodgson, Hodgson became overrated in his stint with Vancouver and completely fell down to earth with his move to Buffalo. It's hard to vote against Hodgson at this time based on both guys accomplisments.
