so let me get this straight? you would rather have a guy who isn't as good as doan, doesn't have doeans leadership or work ethic, and is a problem in the locker room?

as a Non pens fan i want you to have andrei, why you would rather have him over a better player is beyond me.

This. And he puts up as many hits as Doan.

I'd gladly take him back in MTL.

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Bourque - Plekanec - Gionta
Moen - Eller - Kostitsyn
Prust - Gomez - Armstrong
White

I wouldn't mind him on the Jets. He has decent size and he's good at both ends of the ice.

Ladd - Little - Wheeler
Kane - Jokinen - Kostitsyn
Ponikarovsky - Burmistrov - Antropov
Wellwood - Slater - Thorburn

I would be OK with Chicago signing him.

Stalberg - Toews - Hossa
Sharp - Kane - Kostitsyn
Bickell - Bolland - Shaw
Carcillo - Kruger - Mayers

Would allow Kane to move to C without opening a major hole on RW.

My guess is he will only sign a 1 or 2 year deal and with the looming lockout there is no hurry to just throw money away on a player like him. Right now it's 2 way deals or 6+ year contracts only.

Andrei Kostitsyn is not a problem in the locker room. He's not a lazy player like others call him.. He's was liked in our locker room, he wasn't going out and doing stupid things anymore, now with Radulov who's even dumber than him... The guy need's great leadership he'd be good on a team like Pittsburgh that knows how to handle talents.

Only decent winger left. I believe he will go from underrated to overrated as the UFA period progresses. He's a solid top 9 forward who can compliment the top 3 or top 6 in a pinch. Not enough production to carry a line but very talented and can keep up with the best of them. He hits like a truck and his defensive awareness isn't poor.

He'd compliment a lot of teams forward groups. I see a fit in PHX or pittsburgh.

BTW, he was the MOST liked guy in the habs dressing room. A room with cup winners like gionta, gill, cole, etc...

Had no idea he is a hitter, but a lot of MTL fans keep mentioning it. Now I want him for the Devils even more.

Could see him with the Flyers, too.

Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek

Schenn-Briere-Simmonds

Kostitsyn-Couturier-Read

Wellwood-Talbot-Fedotenko

Makes even more sense if they move Read in a trade for a defenseman

You sir, are right on the money. Looks like Kostitsyn is setting himself up nicely once the Shane Doan saga is over.

The last one was a perfect example of what AK can do. He can be a complete force sometimes but not conistently.

If theres a lockout, he'll go to the KHL. If theres not a lockout, he'll go to the KHL.
