Had my first draft yesterday. League settings as follows

1 completion = 1pt
50 pass yrds= 1pt
20 rush yrds = 1pt
20 rec yrds = 1pt
1 rec = 1pt
pass td = 6pt
rec/rush td = 6pt
20 return yrds = 1pt
everything else is pretty much standard

10 team league, you have to have 3QB 5WR 4RB 2TE 2K 2D i had the 3rd overall pick. my team looks like this

QB T. Brady
WR H. Nicks
WR D. Bowe
WR A. Brown
RB A. Peterson
RB J. Charles
TE J. Graham
K G. Heartley
D NYG

BENCH
QB J. Cutler
QB S. Bradford
WR E. Decker
WR T. Young
RB D. Murray
RB C.J. Spiller
TE C. Fleener
K D. Bailey
D Houston

What do you guys think? I'm pretty satisfied with my team, i even won the best draft award even though i know it means absolutely nothing

The scoring and positions are much different than my league, so I'm just judging this based on a 10-teamer. I'm not exactly sure how you managed to get Brady, Murray, Charles, AP, and Graham as all of those guys are always gone by pick 25 or so, and you didn't take your 5th guy til 43, so that means you did real well with your top 5. Also means you got Nicks, Bowe, and Brown later then they typically go as well. If Peterson and Charles are healthy you should run away with this league. Even if they're not you should be in good shape.

exactly...what kind of league is this? and if this was a pay league, bring some of those other gm's over here, would love to draft with them as they seem pretty clueless if you walked away with that crop..

ya there was some pretty laughable picks like cam newton and eli manning going in the 1st round before Stafford. again, i dont mind taking an elite qb early, but in this scoring settings where u get points for completions, those were just plain stupid picks. and u had ppl taking D and K very early (by my standards at least) which left room to build on my bench. and it is a pay league. i came in 2nd last year in this league

hahahaha, you have half of my sleepers on that team!!!

solid job getting value all around, though I hate Beanie Wells and would have avoided him like the plague...would have rather of seen you pick Kevin Smith or even his teammate Ryan Williams at that spot to be honest... Beanie is not going to be the starter by week 3, book it.

Locker, Baldwin, Young, Jeffrey, Gresham, and Antonio Brown are all bigtime risers/sleepers for me...I have been trying to draft them every chance I get, so kudos for landing as many of them as you did...they will surprise and provide you with value which at the end of the day is what really matters ADP...

Just had my super competitive 12 man auction draft.

I love the auction format. Am happy but not over the moon with my team.

QB - Romo - $7
RB - S. Jackson - $26
RB - McFadden - $44 (overspent but I needed an RB and I'm a gambler)
WR - J. Jones - $28
WR - D. Jackson - $12
FLEX - B. Wells - $16
TE - J. Graham - $47 (needed elite TE w/o having top QB)
DEF - Cincy - $1
K - Nugent - $1
B - I. Redman - $8
B - RG3 - $5
B - Britt - $3
B - T. Young - $1
B - R. Williams - $1

I really like this team. It's similar to mine. With your RBs it's looking great. Do you usually draft two Defenses and two Kickers?

I'm new to the fantasy football game and in the middle of a draft right now that's stalled in the 10th round (people on vacation). Here's my team so far, it looks kind of like yours, but probly not quite as good

1. LeSean McCoy (6)
2. Larry Fitzgerald (15)
3. Philip Rivers (26)
4. DeMarco Murray (35)
5. Aaron Hernandez (46)
6. Joe Flacco (55)
7. Demaryius Thomas (66)
8. Percy Harvin (75)
9. Isaac Redman (86)
10. Andy Dalton (95)

10 team league, 2 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 flex, team d and kicker

Never done any fantasy nfl so i wasn't too familiar with the scoring, valuable positions etc. I'm thinking about taking another RB with my next pick and then going for team D and kicker.

One of my drafts. My friends/serious league drafts on Sunday. Joined a NFL.com random for fun. Drafted 2nd in a snake draft of 12 teams.

QB: Brady Pats R1 - 2
RB: Richardson Browns R2 - 23
RB: M. Turner ATL R4-47
WR: J. Nelson GB R3- 26
WR: Wayne IND R6-71
TE: Hernandez PAts R5 -58
RB: Williams Car R7-74
K: Bryant ATL R11-122
DEF: Bills R8-95
RB: Thomas NO R9-98
WR: Floyd SD R10-119
QB: FLynn SEA

The rest are moot points. Hopefully my draft sunday is better.

Went QB as my first pick (personal pref.) and went Brady as Rogers was off the board first.

14 team, Money, Auction Style, PPR league. Unfortunately I missed the first three rounds of the draft due to a family thing, so by the time I got there most of the great players were gone. I'm not too optimistic about this league, but here's my team:

QB: Cam Newton
RB: Jamaal Charles
RB: JacQuizz Rodgers
WR: Steve Smith (Carolina)
WR: Dez Bryant
TE: Greg Olsen
Flex: Kendall Wright/Greg Little
D/ST: San Francisco
K: Randy Bulloch

Bench: Sidney Rice, Coby Fleener, Randall Cobb, Jonathan Dwyer.

Team #2 is a 12 team league I joined last minute because I wanted to do a snake draft after a few years of only doing auction drafts with my friends. I think I have the best team in the league, but we'll see...

QB: Eli Manning
RB: Ray Rice
RB: Doug Martin
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Victor Cruz
WR: Titus Young
TE: Fred Davis
D/ST: Buffalo
K: Dan Bailey

Bench: JacQuizz Rodgers, Pierre Garcon, Lance Moore, Daniel Thomas, Greg Olsen, Rueben Randle.

For a 14 teamer, that's a really good team. Ryan Williams could easily end up being the starter in Arizona and having a good year, and then your team is looking mint.

Impressive team. Williams and Young are fantastic backups, Ryan should have a good year, and you have the Ryan-Jones connection, too.... I like it, especially in a 14 team league.

My first draft of many this weekend and next. This one is a 10 teamer.

Qb: Rodgers
Rb: J. Charles
Rb: R. Matthews
Wr: P. Harvin
Wr: J. Nelson
Te: F. Davis
Flex: A. Brown

Bench

J. Maclin
P. Hillis
T. Young
T. Gerhart
K. Wright
R. Jennings
J. Rodgers

Mathews fell to me in 4th round, I couldn't pass him up there even though I'm not crazy about him. I really like this team overall though.

Who did you take 4th, I'm assuming MC, AP, and Gronk were your first 3.

I feel like your RBs and WRs are a little weak, but in that a second QB is of such value, I assume you took Rivers with your first pick, so that skews things a bit. I think McGahee could be solid, and Graham is the top TE IMO. I'm not a fan of Greene at all, and not terribly high on DWill either, but I like Ryan Williams on your bench, and there's a lot of talk of Titus emerging this year. Unfortunately none of your RBs catch balls, and that could hurt you in a PPR.

D/ST - Ravens
K - Matt Prater

2 guys got their back ups (rivers/romo) before my next pick in a 10 team league. Already looking to trade for a QB. Aside from that atrocity, What do you guys think?
