And that ******* sun-tek tomato pitch by the announcer that sounds like Max Keeping's younger brother... Manotik's little miracles or something... makes me not want to eat a greenhouse tomato ever again.

Why do they have such ****** ads?
Because you were just able to aptly describe both the Alarm Force and Sun Tek commercials at will. They work.

Anyone who listens to Team 1200 knows the Alarm Force number by heart, and can recall it on a whim, I would bet. The ads are bad because they're repetitive, and they're repetitive because they want you to remember the content of the ad, not how good/bad the ads are.

I love innovative commercials, but commercials that are entertaining and well done are usually remembered for just that: being entertaining and well done, not remembered for the brand.

Yeah...I wasn't trying to start a fight over ads.

I just think it is stupid to have sirens and crash sounds in your ad when 99% of your audience is driving.

Like I wrote originally.

OMG that's too funny. I thought the exact same thing. Merging onto the 417 and all of the sudden there's tires/sirens/etc. I don't need that.

Let me get this straight.

After years of being convinced that anyone to ever visit the location of Oil Changers would smile as they drove away, YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT IT'S A LIE.

**** HUMANITY.

Healthy Scratches - as in Steve & Yorkie's bit? That'd be a bit of a bummer! I like Simmer; he's fine and dandy, but I definitely enjoyed the current line up on Healthy Scratches....

Wondering if its because York is doing more and more TV now? Shame...

The afternoon spot was good for a couple years with Galley and JR, but was otherwise between bleh and awful since I've been listening (that guy who called Domi a wife beater - Dan? Don?). Doesn't look like it's going to improve this year. Not a Simpson fan. Gross pretty much is Lloyd. They sound the damn same. At least Gross' personality isn't totally milquetoast.

New fall schedule...

TGOR is unchanged.

9-12 is now Lloyd and York.

Simmer and Gross as the 3-6 show.

Versace does afternoon 20/20's and hosts Offside.

AJ does all the 67's games.

I remember his on air apology. I think he should not have apologized. Too bad he got turfed over something so dumb.

I hated listening to the guy, but as soon as Monahan was gone you knew Dandy was on borrowed time.

Dissapointed that Lloyd and York got movde to the morning show. I loved them in their pre-game slot. Wish the "healthy scratches" part would have stayed with them for the morniing show too.

Love Simmer, but not a fan or Gross.

Interesting that Versage got the boot!

Lloyd said on the show today that he asked for the move so he could deal with his young kids and shift working wife's schedule better. Could just be spin, but who knows, or really cares.

Gross I don't love, but I'll give him a chance, Simmer is great when he isn't trying too hard (which all radio people seem to do). He has impressed me less the more he has been on, but that may just be the summer lull in hockey news, his connections on bringing guests on the show has been impressive, we'll see how well it he holds up over a full year.

Definitely not a fan of Versage, imho he just sucks. Good move by the Team.

As long as they try to keep it professional I'll be happy, don't deteriorate into the old inside jokes/callers/Jerome days.

"TGOR stays the same"

So, does that mean Simmer is going 2 shows? TGOR was JR, Steve and Simmer correct?

I apologize, this is just a little confusing..
