I congratulated Waterloo, so Congrats also to my Boys from Sudbury for making the final.. I didn't think Shinnik had the firepower to beat them, and I was right, as I pretty much am all of the time, well 90% of the time anyway! I do get somethings wrong.

Should be a good final. Good luck to both teams!

Nice to see an all-North American final between the two youngest teams there. I'm totally impressed by Waterloo.

As am I... to tie up that game in the final seconds and win it in a shootout. Onions baby Onions! I think they should beat Sudbury, but it will be a typical N.American game (if the officials allow it) and will be close, 3-2 or 4-3. Sudbury with a few bounces going their way can pull it out, but it will be tough.

Great to be able to watch the Wolves game live today. Does anyone know if the final will be streamed?

It seems like the Linkoping/Waterloo game was quite the thriller. It's a real accomplishment for Waterloo to hand the Swedish team their first loss (though I hate shootouts) and make the finals as the tournament's youngest team.

The all North American final might not be what was favored by some but it could generate some interest amongst North American fans who've been ignoring the tournament thus far. There's been discussion for years about how the USHL/CHL match up and now these two teams will be playing each other in a game that actually means something. I'm glad the game will be broadcast.

They were 1,7 secs from the final. IMO, it had nothing to do with how Swedish juniors fare against NA teams, it was just really, really, really bad luck! To say what you did is almost an insult to these guys right now, they just didn't have the marginal on their side today.

I feel so bad for the boys, they fought really well, and scoring 4 goals in ten minutes is pretty damn impressive! Too bad it didn't last. Hopefully they can let this game go and at least go for the bronze tomorrow.

Waterloo has played like the best team in the tournament throughout the tournament. It would be a shame if they didn't win it, because of the overall body of their work, but anything can happen in a one-game matchup.

The only surprise here was the score! But 3rd place games are always difficult to prepare from an emotional point, especially when it came after a disappointing lose in yesterday's game. But no question, the 3 best teams at the tourny will be the 1st 2nd and 3 rd place teams.

Yet more proof "overall body of work" means nothing.

Way to go Sudbury, the cream rises to the top.

You showed them all you were the best.

Too bad Linköping missed the final, we would have crushed Sudbury (again)... Oh well, at least we got a medal in the end.

Also, congrats to Jesper Pettersson, tourney MVP and best D-man, awesome!

Well, at least the announcer admitted, that the OHL is THE Strongest junior League in the World. But we already knew that. I doubt very much if Hockey Canada will ever consider sending a league or Memorial Cup champion now. I think every year for the time being as long as this tournament continues to grow, HC will send just an average team... all the same, proud of the boys from Sudbury.

You have to actually make it into the finals to be able to crush anyone in a final .

Shame Linkoping wasn't a good enough team to manage that.

Well, it looks like average CHL teams are good enough to beat the competition over there so I'm o.k with it for now.

You don't say??

They were definitely a good enough team (they did beat Sudbury 6-3 three days ago), it just wasn't their day yesterday, simple as that.

Anyway, I don't care, we got a medal and one of our boys is the MVP so I'm happy now.

Enjoy.

Bronze is what they got because bronze is what they earned.
