Cats won a 3rd straight tonight VS Sherbrooke 4-0.
I was excited to see Phoenix forward Daniel Audette play. He's very skilled and he played well in the 1st period but became invisible after that. He'll be a good player in this league for sure. As for the other Phoenix players there wasn't much to talk about.
On Cats side goaltender William Kane had a great game registering a shutout and making some big saves. He made a great impression on everyone tonight.
The best player on the ice tonight was Peter Sakaris even if he did not registered any points. He made good shots, great passes and some nices dekes too. He was dominant with the puck.
#9 Olivier Jodoin and #97 Alex Pawelczyk were using their respective 6'3 and 6'5 very well creating things around Sherbrooke's net. Jodoin finished the night with 1A.
In the tall guys category, new addition defenseman Jean-Phylippe Provencher who's 6'7 played well on defense and was moving really well on the ice for someone of that height. Not always perfect with the puck but he's a nice project for the Cats.
I gotta give good notes to forwards Antoine Masson (1G and 1A), Philippe Venne (2G and 1A) and Benjamin Lagard (1G and 1A). Good game by Evan Scott (2A) too.
