I dont know why he went so low to be honest...he is one of the more skilled players in this country, and doesnt seem to be a lock for college hockey...he could very well jump to the OHL next year, has the skill to be a decent player there as well..
Thanks for the info. Could be great news for the Fronts.

It is not quite as skilled, but comparable to Jr. A in Ontario.

Now we know why Jake Evans fell to the 8th round. He committed to Notre Dame a few days ago.

he was the top goal scorer at the 15 festival development camp and he has been invited to the USA NTDP . The league isnt great but 105 points for a 15 year old playing junior aged player is still pretty impressive

Wow Tuch sounds like he could be a player.

I hope Mike Kelly can work his magic and get him here in Guelph. If i'm not mistaken, didn't Dustin Brown play for the same Syracuse team during his OHL draft year?

There is a camp in Cornwall the first week in July to evaluate everyone and the final roster is usually picked in the middle of November.

Hi ,

In theory you have to attend a regional camp and be moved on as one of the nest 7 forwards , 4 defense men or best goalie . There have been instances in the past where injury provisions have allowed a player to move forward without total participation in the camp . This being said the provincial team is usually composed mostly of players who are first round picks and are playing in the OHL next season . For your information I have posted below the names of the players out of the NOHA . Have a great day

The following players have advanced from the NOHA Camp to the Ontario Provincial Camp:
Michael Amadio – Sault Ste. Marie Bradley Bell – Sudbury
Jaren Bellini – Sault Ste. Marie Brandon Grandinetti – Sault Ste. Marie
Tanner Lafrance – Englehart Trent Mallette – Levack
Michael Muzyka – Garson Brendan Perlini – Sault Ste. Marie
Tyler Peters – Powassan Cedric Primeau – Sudbury
Tyler Romain – Timmins Nevada Waindubence – Sheguiandah

I believe there was a regional camp held in Grimsby for the more southern region players. Would anybody know which players were selected out of this camp.

Thanks for the info. Maybe the above list are a bunch of sleepers for the future. I can only speak of Muzyka who impressed the daylights out of me. Love the kids reflexes and battles like crazy. I have limited game action of Muzyka but i like his game. Id also invite Jason Rhynold to an OHL camp in a HEARTBEAT.

OHL shot
2 way player
Power Forward
Takes puck to the net hard
Blocks shots
Great work ethic/compete level
Bangs in the corners
complete player

*Rated by some as high as Late first round, although OHL central scouting had him as a 4th rounder

Players need to go through the draft a second time before they can be invited to an OHL camp, be it a rookie camp or the main one.

Eric Luzar
Davis Gadjovich
Max Balison
Griffen Heitshu

Any info is appriciated!
Quinn diamond from Cambridge is a high skilled goal scoring forward. Missed a bunch of games in the past 2 seasons due to injuries. Wouldn't surprise me if he signs during the 2013-2014 season. Marc Stevens is an all around solid player with good size and can score goals. He's very good at driving to the net but also back checks hard. I think he will definitely sign this year or the next.

I understand quite a few 2012 OHL draft were showcased at the Burlington Cougar Challenge Cup this weekend, any one stand up?
