Just finished my Keeper league draft.

My 5 keepers were:
Brady
Austin
Wallace
McFadden
Sproles

QB: T. Brady
WR: M. Wallace
WR: M. Austin
RB: D. McFadden
TE: J. Witten
W/R: D. Sproles
W/R: P. Harvin
Def: Houston

Bench:
DeSean Jackson
D. Heyward-Bey
J. Freeman
T. Hightower
J. Best
E. Royal
G. Olsen

We get a 25 yards a point for return yards, so Sproles and Harvin are very good to have.

10 team PPR, I had 10th overall

QB - Philip Rivers, Jake Locker
RB - Maurice Jones-Drew, Stevan Ridley, Roy Helu, David Wilson, Rashard Mendenhall (last pick)
WR - Victor Cruz, A.J. Green, Miles Austin, Reggie Wayne, Justin Blackmon, Nate Burleson
TE - Jimmy Graham, Jason Witten
D - Jets
K - Matt Bryant

Somehow MoJo dropped to #10 and on the wrap around I grabbed Jimmy Graham. 3rd and 4th round picks were Victor Cruz and A.J. Green. After that my draft orders kinda fuzzy.

We run a line up as follows

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE
FLEX
D
K

12 team draft. Scoring is a TD only (no yardage) league with an important distinction being QB's get 6 also instead of the more common 4 points. That increases the value of QB's higher than most fantasy mags and guru lists have them. In fact the highest RB on my overall pre-draft rankings was Foster at 5th. Kickers are basic 3fg 1extra point, defense are 6td 2safety and 1 point per turnover

Leagues been together about 15 years now, with only a few turnovers during that time.

Drafting #5 overall of 12, snake draft:
1. QB Matt Stafford -- other 3 QB's I had ahead of him and Foster were gone. So it's either McCoy or Stafford. My rankings say if I skip Stafford I'm going to get another QB with 4-5 less TD's and lower upside. If I skip McCoy I think I can get another RB with 3-4 fewer TD. Also I'm a bit worried about the Philly offense this season.
2. WR Jordy Nelson
3. RB Ahmed Bradshaw
4. RB Willis McGahee -- think he will score 9-12 TD's this season with an improved offense and Tebow not taking all the goal line carries.
5. WR Eric Decker
6. TE Aaron Hernandez -- would have preferred to wait a bit longer but the way the draft fell he had the largest gap between the next best TE on my listings while my WR and RB rankings had a lot of comparable players remaining, some of which would slip to my next pick where Hernandez wouldn't.
7. WR Antonio Brown
8. RB Shane Vereen -- expect him to get 6-8 TDs
9. K David Akers
10. QB Andrew Luck -- backup
11. WR Devery Henderson
12. RB Lerron McClain -- remember this is a TD only league
13. RB Deangelo Williams
14. WR James Jones
15. Buffalo defense
16. We leave one roster spot undrafted, add a player after the draft.

Love playing this league because the scoring rule differences trip up a lot of people that are used to ranking players in the more common yardage, ppr or 4pt QB TD scoring systems.

^^^^ Great draft Mouser. I am pissed at how mine went. I wanted mine to look how yours does pretty much lol almost the exact player were on my list of possibles minus Stafford and Bradshaw

Drafted #2 on a snake ladder of 12 teams. Yardage + TDs

QB - 1st Pick Brady. Went QB early and thank god I did..would of ended up with a palmer type QB

RB - F. Jackson - thought I would try old man Fred one more time

RB - D. Martin (Bucs) - Should be a great campaign

WR - Andre Johnson - still unsure of if I should of grabbed him.

WR - R. Wayne - will be a hot target with Luck and should get good yardage

TE - A. Hernandez - Gronk was gone so the next best thing in case of Gronk Injuries

K - None......... my frickin CPU froze me out on my last two picks. Have a Waiver in

Def - Seahawks - Good last year and has looked good this preseason.

W/R Flex - R. Jennings RB (JAC) - Gamble - waiting on to see what happens with MDJ

Bench

B. Tate RB - crossing fingers that Foster is injury prone again (sorry Foster)

R. Turbin RB - Lynch is having increased back issues so thought Turbin would be good to have

J. Baldwin WR - Big body and a tall receiver. Didnt have a great preseason but showed promise

A. Jeffery WR - Looked great with the Bears pre season.

G. Little WR - #1 WR for the Browns - pretty much to have another stable yardage WR

R. Randle WR - Looked good this preseason with NYG

C. Fleener TE - Played really well with Luck in Stanford and they connected for 10 TDs in 2011. So he is my bigger sleeper....hopefully the familiarity and chemistry between the two continues to the NFL.

So some opinions needed on my kicking situation. I have to drop a player to pick up a kicker. Should I drop Baldwin or Randle and why? Thanks in advance for your opinions

I feel like I got really good value on my backup RBs, and all of my receivers except maybe Crabtree. My most iffy pick is probably Richardson, but I feel the value on (along with the consistency of) Turner makes up for it. I like where I took Rivers, but might have jumped on Manning too early. I was also really happy to get Finley as the 6th tight end taken.
Any critiques/comments on this?

Not really. You had a great draft. The only slight weakness I can see is your QB situation...that being said your great RBs will make up for what your QBs will lack. Martin will be good (hopefully as I have him as well) and Gerhert should get alot of touches for the first couple weeks until A.P. is ready. YOur starting WR are solid and Austin should be good and Crabtree decent.

Richardson will be a gamble. He will either Sink, swim or tread water but a good pick non the less.

I wish our league would go back down to 8-10. 12 is just too many to have a fun draft....it was more stressfull then fun last night

Second pick in a standard 12 team league except we have one OP position (QB/RB/WR/TE) instead of the usual RB/WR flex. That gives it the feel of a 2 QB league, but you do have a little bit of flexibility and won't need to start a low end QB2.

2) Ray Rice
23) Adrian Peterson
26) Julio Jones
47) Dez Bryant
50) Doug Martin
71) Matt Schaub
74) Antonio Brown
95) Peyton Hillis
98) Toby Gerhart
119) Andrew Luck
122) Ryan Williams
143) Kendall Wright
146) Jake Locker
167) Cowboys D/ST
170) Randall Cobb
191) Jermaine Gresham
194) Greg Olsen
215) John Kasay

QB Matt Schaub
RB Ray Rice
RB Adrian Peterson
WR Julio Jones
WR Dez Bryant
WR Antonio Brown
OP Doug Martin
TE Jermaine Gresham
D/ST Dallas
K Kasay

So I usually make one terrible pick per year and this year it has to be Peterson over Graham. I was regretting that pick immediately after making it. Rice-Martin-Luck-Graham looks so much better than Rice-Peterson-Martin-Gresham.

10 team league. Pretty standard scoring. .3 PPR. I think it could have gone a bit better, but Brady will be a monster. I think Jones is going to blow up this year, but I need some production out of Richardson.

QB - Tom Brady
RB - Trent Richardson
RB - Frank Gore
WR - Wes Welker
WR - Julio Jones
WR/RB - Dez Bryant
TE - Tony Gonzalez
K - Alex Henery
DEF - NYJ

BN - Stevan Ridley
BN - Peyton Hillis
BN - Ben Tate
BN - Pierre Garcon
BN - Darrius Heyward-Bey
BN - Michael Crabtree
BN - Mike Goodson
BN - Matt Schaub

Had my first out of 4 drafts today , this one is an 8 teamer only but still a lot of fun.4 points per pass TD, 6 for all other tds, non ppr standard yardage, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 Wr, 1 Te , 1 K and 1 D. Picked 5th

QB Tom Brady
RB Matt Forte
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Trent Richardson
RB Darren Sproles ( 9th round pick !! )
RB Cedric Benson
RB CJ Spiller
WR Calvin Johnson
WR Hakeem Nicks
WR Miles Austin
WR DeSean Jackson
WR Antonio Brown ( 11th round !)
TE Vernon Davis
K Rob Bironas
D Giants

I have a stacked team but only being an 8 team league I should have a loaded roster. I got AP in round 4 and T-Rich in round 7, some great value. Now I must prepare for a 12 teamer and 2 14 teamers

I was high on Baldwin last year, and also was going into this preseason. Unfortunately the guy's done nothing since, and Bowe is back. That being said, I still feel like he has much higher upside than Breaston, and could still take the WR2 job in KC, whereas we know that isn't happening with Randle in NY. Plus the Giants don't use a ton of 3 WR sets. I'd drop Randle.

It's tough cause it's an 8-teamer. You essentially have the worst starting QB in your league, but I like the fact you also grabbed Rivers. Based on matchups that should still be ok. I do think you grabbed Manning too early though because all but one team in your league already had a QB, so you probably could've grabbed him (or whoever was left between Ryan, Peyton, Romo) much later. Could've had one more solid RB or stud WR on your team. I think Finley will have a good year, and like Tamme on your bench. I also like Richardson and Martin.

10 team PPR everyone gets 1-keep mine was Chris Johnson.

QB: Tony Romo
RB: Chris Johnson
RB: Matt Forte
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Percy Harvin
TE: Fred Davis
FLEX: Darren Sproles
D/ST: Cardinals
K: Jason Hanson

BENCH
Dwayne Bowe
Eric Decker
Titus Young
Robert Meachem
Ryan Williams
Isaac Redman
Kevin Smith
Rashad Jennings

Percy Harvin(87), Darren Sproles(86), Brandon Marshall(81), and Dwayne Bowe(81) were all top-10 in receptions in 2011 so I feel really great about my team in a PPR format.

10 team money league. 6 pt passing touchdowns and 3 flex starter spots instead of 1. I had 2nd pick.

QB: Eli Manning
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Jamaal Charles
WR: AJ Green
WR Victor Cruz
Flex: Ahmad Bradshaw
Flex: BJGE
Flex: Robert Meacham
TE: Pettigrew
D/ST: Seahawks
K: Succop

Bench:
Matt Ryan
Ben Tate
Peyton Hillis
Nate Washington
Mike Williams
Steelers D/ST

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my draft. Things I loved were where I got my QB's (Eli at 59, Ryan at 99) and that I was able to handcuff both my star RB's. Thoughts?

12 team ppr (qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, rb/wr/te flex, def, K)

QB - Ben Roethburger
RB - Run DMC, Demarco Murray
WR - Nicks, Antonion Brown, Wayne
Flex - AP
TE - Tony G
Def - Broncos
K - Hartley

Bench

QB - Flacco
RB - Donald Brown, Leshoure, David Wilson, Felix Jones
WR - Amendola

Picked 11th and 5 QBs went before my pick. I am weak at WR depth, strong in RB depth. I have an open roster spot (just drafted yesterday) and will be filling it tomorrow with a few possible players.

Thoughts?

As you mentioned, I really like the fact you have Hillis, and especially Tate. Figure you should be in good shape at those two RB spots for the entire year. And you know Foster or Tate will be a stud. Gonna be interesting to see how Charles does this year.

Not a fan of your QB situation at all. Looks like AP slipped quite a bit in your league, so that's a nice flex option. You're strong at RB which is important. Little weak at TE though. I'd look to see if a Pettigrew/Tamme/Olsen is available.

Depends on if this is a 10 or 12 teamer. I feel like Turner, AJ, and Sproles all go earlier than they should, so I don't know about them. Also definitely not thrilled with Cook as he's maybe barely a top 12 TE. If Murray stays healthy he's fine as a RB1, and I definitely like Brown on your bench as I think he'll have a very productive year. Williams also has some nice upside as you know there's no way Beanie stays healthy all year.

I've done a lot of 10-team mocks and this team seems pretty standard to me. Rodgers is the top QB, and an argument can definitely be made to take him first overall. Forte often doesn't slip to 20, so that worked out well for you. AP's risky to me this year, but that's about where he goes. I definitely like Bowe's value where he's been going, and I feel like Dez will have a big year. Hernandez is a top 5 or so TE so you're fine there. I'd probably look to grab any solid backup RB that didn't get drafted. Someone like Rashad Jennings, Ryan Williams, David Wilson, Jacquizz Rodgers, Robert Turbin, Mikel Leshoure, Kendall Hunter, Montario Hardesty, someone like that. If AP isn't completely healthy, we already know Mendenhall won't be, so your RB depth concerns me.
