College basketball is almost akin to the Olympics or World Cup to me. I'll keep tabs on Ohio State and the mighty Bobcats of Ohio University, but generally it's more event viewing than a daily or weekly commitment.
The tournament is one of my favorite times of the year, but otherwise, meh.

Probably because Cinderella's usually only last 1 or 2 rounds anymore.

I can always be talked into watching NHL, MLS, EPL, and NFL. Definite first tier.

I'm not anti baseball but I don't follow it. NBA playoffs are awesome but I could not care less about the regular season.

The money in college sports and general phoniness of treating amateurs like pros but not paying them somewhat sours me for NCAAF and basketball. I wish the players well but something about the system stinks.

Love the NFL but it doesn't beat hockey.

NHL (CBJ)
NFL (Lions)
Golf (Any time Any place)
MLB (Tigers)
NCAA Football (U of M)
NCAA Basketball (Big Ten Championship and NCAA Tournament only)

I never got into futball' although I do like to watch the World Cup and the Olympics were fun.

Pro basketball sucks.

Me three.

I love the pageantry and history of college football, but over the last 10-15 years it seems to me that some of that has been lost. I was part of game day for several years at Ohio State, and there really was nothing better than any part of that experience, either on the field or in the stands. Some of that remains, but other parts seem drowned out by speakers on scoreboards, commercials between plays and obnoxious fans who have no real idea why they're supporting a team other than to share in their success.

These days, while I'm proud of my time at OSU and my small part in the tradition of saturday afternoons at Ohio Stadium, I don't feel so proud about being a Buckeye anymore. It all went south for me about the same time as the Clarett mess.

I hope that labor problems aren't the Maurice Clarett to my love of the NHL.

The atmosphere over the years has changed. I talked in great detail with OSU Band leaders about their frustrations about not being able to play at certain point of the game because they have to let a sponsor show a commercial or whatever it is. Its all about the money. History and tradition don't mean anything if the money is rolling in.

BTW, the frustrations the band had was a story i was shooting that ended up being killed. I dont remember why.

Looks like we might have some "new" uniforms this year for the Bucks.

I like that the pants are more gray, but I wish the jerseys were a bit more scarlet (which I think to be darker than the bright red they now use).

I'm already in love as is, personally. Couldn't stand that we were scarlet-and-silver.

I'm with you pete. Changing the shades of red or scarlet made no sense to me, the old unis were better imo.

I love the fact the pants are darker but, I still wish they used these uniforms.

Which word is being overused more, "Growing Pains" on the OSU broadcast or "Healing" on the OU broadcast?

As Brent Musberger would say "They'll be dancing in the streets of Athens tonight". Of course thats just about any Saturday (or any other night) in Athens
