While I started watching the Colts-Steelers I missed most of it. Luck didn't look to good from what I saw, but sounds like he played through it and was able to make a comeback.

Vick won't play more than 10 games this season. He is too small to take hits like that game in, game out.

I give the guy credit for being able to get back in the game. I know a lot of people hate him and refuse to give him credit, but to comeback at 29 after missing two full seasons and to be named to the Pro Bowl team is quite an accomplishment.

Wonder if Edwards/Foles will be able to handle it when Vick does go down.

I'm not a Vick hater at all, I find him incredibly exciting to watch. I like that he's not scared to go for it and take a hit to get that extra yard/score but his ribs and head have taken a beating since coming back.

I don't know who they are going to end up with. Should've mentioned him.

Anyone catch Manning this week? Didn't get to watch as much ball as would've hoped this past week.

I dont get why Vick wouldnt wear protection there....In the regular season I could kind of understand, but after having an injury last year why wouldnt you wear a flac jacket in a preseason game.

I was thinking the samething. At some point he's probably going to have to wear one during the regular season if he wants to continue to play. Might as well get use to it now.

Foles looked good, Kafka is expected to be ready for opening week. I'm happy the eagles have a lot of defensive depth this season. Ex cfl star Phillip hunt was killing it for the eagles last night. I have been an eagles fan for 15 years and this is the season I'm most excited about.

I'm definitely pumped for the season (it may be the only sport worth watching if the NHL does lockout too).

I think the Patriots are the team to beat in the AFC again. They made it to the Super Bowl and the team actually got better over the summer. Excited at the potential of Brandon Lloyd in the offence, and we drafted a couple large potential pass rushers in the draft.

I dont know if they will be make the Super Bowl again because its very tough to do in back to back years but we definitely are good enough to do it.

I'm also excited as I'm going to a couple games this year. MNF 49ers/Cardinals and Lions/Vikings. Two of those teams suck , lol, but 49ers and Lions will be exciting teams this year.

Would love to see my 'Boys do well this year, but they are an unknown quantity. Will depend on the health of Romo and if they can fill some spots in the d backfield. I think Bryant will have a monster year.

Can't wait for the regular season. So far so good from what I've seen in the pre-season. Matt Flynn looks strong and I'm confident he can carry that talent into the regular season and lead the Hawks to a solid 11-5 season.

I'm really interested in Week 3. Packers vs Seahawks. Rogers vs Flynn, gonna be an interesting match up.

Julio is good when he is not injured and plays disciplined. If he can put a healthy season together (good conditioning in the off-season), he and Roddy White, and Tony can put the Falcons easily in the top 3 offenses in the league.

Drafted Jones-Drew at 21 in my draft.
I know it's a risk but at 21 too good to pass up

It would seem that Russell Wilson might have the inside track on the starters job so i wouldn't pencil in Flynn as the opening day starter just yet no matter how much he's paid.

I expect the Lions to take a step back this season as young, upstart teams often do after a break out season, the defensive back 7 is a horror show and there's only so much that Staff and Megatron can do but at least the Lions aren't the joke of the NFL anymore (at least on the field) so that's something at least.

I'd be curious to see how something like this would work out.

NEW YORK -- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says possibly using replacement referees for regular-season games is worthwhile to ensure long-term improvements to officiating.

The league and the NFL Referees Association have yet to reach an agreement, and Goodell acknowledged Thursday that time was running out to make the regular officials available for the openers.
