Hey everybody, sorry if this isn't the right place to post something like this, but I figured there might be a few people here interested. If this is inappropriate, mods please delete the post. I'm listing a few jerseys on ebay, and I have a Derian Hatcher up for sale.
Got tired of being called by my decade old angsty-teenage years screen-name. So instead I changed it to a slightly less angsty-teenage screen-name of mine.
Was considering Jere'sFavoriteBand instead, but Metalgod will have to suffice.

Yuh huh. You dont even post in the official metal thread!
Honestly I generally stay away from metal discussions on forums, simply because the type of metal I'm most into (prog, prog-power, symphonic, gothic) isn't really as mainstream with most Americans. And I'm really not into Death/Black/Metal-core, so the discussions generally don't interest me.

You'll learn some day
Start on Opeth and it's easy to make that transition.
The Big Ten looks terrible this year, the potential of a Purdue v Northwestern championship game is looking quite possible. I'm 100% okay with that. Will know more after huskers and wolverines play.

I've had a few friends who tried desperately to get me into metal. I'm not really sure why, but they have. The only thing that ever stuck was Opeth. Really, that's only because they aren't that metal half of the time in their songs, that and they're so damn talented. Point is, listening to Opeth does not make me enjoy metal, I still hate modern metal.
So in 2004 when the last lockout occurred I taught myself the basics of cooking. I think I was about 15 or 16 at the time, I wonder what hobbies we'll all pick up to fill the time?
I dislike pop music for the most part but in the past 5 years, these two songs have really caught my attention as great pop songs.
and
you got it wrong on both accounts.
The Bassnectar remix of Ellie Ghoulding's Lights is better. it just highlights the chorus (the only time her voice shines) and puts a simple, but effective beat behind it.
On the second, he original that you really want to hear is Imogean Heap's Hide and Seek (the hook). the guy rapping over it ruins it, IMO.
