That's a real nice 16-teamer you got.

Drop 1 TE, kicker, and defense and pick up 3 RBs. You can't got into the year with such shaky depth there. AP is still a huge question mark and Mendenhall is still a few weeks away.

12 team league

QB - Tony Rombo
RB - Arian Foster
RB - Trent Richardson
WR - AJ Green
WR - Desean Jackson
TE - Jermichael Finley
Flex - Doug Martin
D - Houston
K - J Hanson

Thoughts? I know it's pretty risk to have two rookie running backs, but I decided to gamble.

The 16 team league is mostly TD only(bonuses for length or if a RB catches a TD for example). You only get yardage points for >100 for RB and WR and >300 for QBs so 4 of the first 5 picks were QBs, the other being Foster. I was thrilled when Rice fell to 6th and I still got Romo in the 3rd.

Good call on that. Or perhaps 2 RBs and an upside/sleeper WR.

Your starters seem fine although you better hope Turner and McGahee have one more great season left in them, because if they start to break down you're screwed.

I'd have to see the FA list. But I'm not a fan of Jacobs, I'd rather have Kendall Hunter if you want a 49ers backup.

Santana Moss probably shouldn't have been drafted either, He'll be lucky to be the #3 this year (depending on if he beats out Josh Morgan). I'd drop him for Leonard Hankerson if he's available.

Looks pretty standard for a 10-teamer. I assume you went Stafford and Forte with your first 2. I definitely like Stafford this year. If you don't take him there you're stuck with an Eli/Romo/Ryan type, and they're definitely a tier below. Forte isn't gonna score much this year, but he usually doesn't, so he could still be quite productive. Wish you also had Bush, but it's tough to always get handcuffs. I definitely like Tate and Wilson on your bench. Also like your receivers as while you probably don't have a top 5 guy, you have 4 that could easily go for 1,000. Interesting kicker choice.

I think all signs point to each guy being solid this year. Richardson is clearly the guy there if he stays healthy, and Martin had absolutely no problem taking the job from Blount. Foster's obviously a stud, and Romo's a middle of the road guy in a 12-teamer, so that's fine. I think Finley will be as good or better than last year, so that's solid. Your bench would probably ultimately determine the strength of your draft.

I'm really not a fan of anyone on your bench. As you mentioned, Starks can be dropped, and I'd say Moss and Jacobs too, and I also wouldn't worry too much about dropping Manningham for someone either. Tough to say who without looking at your free agent pool, but those would be the upgrades I'd look to make. Olsen's also a little weak at TE, so I'd see who was available there as well.

#2 pick in a 12 team league:

QB: Andrew Luck
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Adrian Peterson
WR: Victor Cruz
WR: Marques Colston
TE: Owen Daniels
WR/T: Antonio Brown
K: Stephen Gostkowski
Def: NY Jets

Bench: Greg Olsen
Bench: Michael Bush
Bench: Kenny Britt
Bench: Doug Baldwin
Bench: Toby Gerhart
Bench: Andy Dalton

Had the #2 pick and really struggled on who to take after Rodgers went #1, but settled on Foster. Somehow I got Peterson on the return of the snake draft, and then I grabbed Cruz 3 picks later, but it was downhill from there. I'm not really in love with this team at all. I missed out on all the top QBs so I waited on Luck, and my RB depth is pretty poor. But if Luck has a good rookie season and Olsen puts up big numbers like I think he might, I could do well. Also obviously need AP to stay healthy, but at least I have Gerhart as insurance.

#8 pick in a 10 team league. It's a ppr league with the following settings:
QB TDs are worth 6. 5 points for 300-399 yards passing, 5 points for 400+ yards passing.
5 points for 100-199 yards rushing, 5 points for 200+
5 points for 100-199 yards receiving, 5 points for 200+

QB, RB, WR, RB/WR, 2 WR/TE, DST, K roster

QB: Rivers
RB: Chris Johnson, Ryan Mathews, Ahmad Bradshaw, Peyton Hillis
WR: Julio Jones, Hakeem Nicks, Jeremy Maclin, Titus Young, Mike Williams
TE: Aaron Hernandez, Jason Witten
DST: Patriots
K: Stephen Gostkowski

Still trying to decide how I feel about this team.

YOur starting WR are solid and Austin should be good and Crabtree decent.

Richardson will be a gamble. He will either Sink, swim or tread water but a good pick non the less.

I wish our league would go back down to 8-10. 12 is just too many to have a fun draft....it was more stressfull then fun last night

Could've had one more solid RB or stud WR on your team. I think Finley will have a good year, and like Tamme on your bench. I also like Richardson and Martin.
Thanks for the responses. Sucks that I have two QBs that are so high risk/high reward (they both throw a ton of picks), but I'm really hoping for a rebound year from Rivers.

Thoughts:

12 team league. 3 keepers (K) drafted 12th as I won last year.

Philip Rivers (K)
Steve Smith (car)
Torrey Smith
Danerious Moore
Arian Foster (K)
Marshawn Lynch (K)
Antonio Gates

Bench:

Lance Moore
Brandon Lafell
Kevin Smith
Joe Flacco
Jacob Tamme
Austin Collie

Also have IDP players. Have both Jared Allan and Jason Pierre-Paul as both my DL (which is a very scarce position).

Looking for a repeat. Very happy with my squad. $100 per team league as well

My bench is alright, there were a lot of guys I wanted that got picked right before me.

Here it is

QB - RG3
QB - Andy Dalton
WR - Blackmon
TE - Olson
RB - J Rodgers
RB - E Royster

I accidentally auto-picked Dalton so that's why I have two QB's on my bench, I'd drop him but don't see anyone worth adding on the WW at this moment.

I split a team in a 10 team league with my dad for his work fantasy league, we had the 2nd pick. It's a little different then most, you must draft 2 QB,3 RB,4 WR,2 K and 2 D.TEs just count as receivers. We start 1 QB,2 RB,2 WR,1 K and 1 D with 2 flex, must be a QB,RB or WR.Scoring is dependent on length of TD's, anywhere from 3-7 points.Yardage starts at 1 point for 50 Rush/Rec yards and 1 more point for every 25 after that.Passing yardage starts at 250 for 1,1 point every 50 yards after that.INT's do not count against, either do fumbles.

QB:Michael Vick
QB:Josh Freeman
RB:Arian Foster
RB:Matt Forte
RB:Frank Gore
WR:Larry Fitzgerald
WR:Roddy White
WR:Miles Austin
WR:Aaron Hernandez
K:Rob Bironas
K: Dan Carpenter
D:Bears
D:Falcons

Love my RB and WR's, I really need Vick to return to form though.QB's went quick (15 gone by end of round 3 and my strategy for this draft was to wait on QBs.Since every other team drafted both their QBs by round 9 we were able to wait to draft Freeman with our very last pick since we didn't have to worry about any other team taking a QB.)
