Eichel was omitted because he's a 2015 prospect, not 2014.

Eichel is a late '96 so he's not eligible until 2015.

right now Fiala is at least 5-10 maybe 5-11, saw him at Hlinka Cup.
time will tell who is right on Barbashev but he has never impressed me much, good hands, skating ability, little hockey sense/instinct, creativity.

Fiala I know when I saw him this year was short short...and even on rinknet which is used by the NHL scouts as well he is still 5'7.....he must have had a major growth stunt

He is 5-7 on rinknet because he is 5-7 on current Swiss roster. However all heights/weights on Swiss U18 roster are outdated. Rinknet is far from flawless in case of European players.
I saw him two weeks ago, he is 5-10 for sure.

Well he must have grown like i said recent....if that is the case he is potential top 2 round pick...I really want to see him have a year in the Swedish league before making judgement on him.

Adrian Kempe is one of the better 96's forwards in Sweden.

What happened to Patrik Koys? He was a sure fire top 5 pick. Has he fallen off the map? Where does he rank now?

Amazing stats especially internationally. Though I don't know with Nations he was facing.

It seems that his name vanished pretty quickly, so I'll just restate the claim that Dane Nikolaj Ehlers might very well go in top-30, and maybe even top-10.

He has extreme offensive weapons. I'm sure he is among the top-10 talent right now, but of course that can change over the next couple of years.

Ranking players on where they project to be selected is called a mock draft.

Otherwise a ranking should be based on the quality of play or projection of future play.

Agreed, as a dane, im very exited about this one!
Have been raving about him for some time now.

Wish we could know more about him.
He is a bit of an unknown player in Denmark, unlike his father.

No love for Czech forward Martin Reway?? He's having a good start in Gatineau this season. Also, Ivan Barbashev is far from a marginal prospect. He's got a very bright future ahead of him , dynamic player.

He is small (178 cm / 5'10").
And he is 2013 draft class.
And he came from SLOVAKIA!

William Nylander and especially Jakub Vrana (CZE) from the Superelit are looking like potential top-10 picks to me.

Too high for this guys. They are 1st round prospects, not the top5, imo.
Not the best draft for russians. 2013 and 2015 must be better.

I remember people talking about William Nylander when he was in like novice or atom and how he had unbelievable hands for his age, cool how he's turned into a legit prospect. Crazy how he grew up playing in a million different places growing up and has still developed into a nice looking prospect, wonder how much his dad has spent with him working on his game considering how much he was away when he was growing up.

Nickolaj Ehlers currently has 6g 5a in 13g on Biel's U20elite team.

He is currently sharing leading scorer with Silvan Wyss

It should be said the Ehlers is 3 years younger than his counterpart on the topscorers list.

Furthermore Ehlers played 3 friendly games for the U18 National team against France U18.

Friendly games France

Ehlers had 3g & 4a in 3 games.

In addition he practiced and played a few exhibition games for the BIEL NLA team, and apparently did ok.
