Everybody thought Crosby's career was over for a while there and yet he was taken with the first overall pick. You never know with these things.

The draft order will just be reversed.

I thought we were waiting until Monday to draft prospects? How can we draft regular players in the prospect draft? We keep their rights until they play 50 games?

Just pick players who are still in juniors as keepers?

I would imagine so, otherwise I could draft some Phenom 12 yr old on YouTube. That reminds me of this story I read that an NHL GM in the 70's drafted a made-up player and no one knew the wiser because the draft went on into a ridiculous amount of rounds.

Buffalo sabres And Taro Tsujimoto in 1974.


We could do the prospect draft via msn though.
