Haven't seen a ton of Nordstrom, but I'd have no problem with him ranking here. Just think that a prospect that is a high end AHL option at worst is being undervalued.

Who exactly do you speak of?

You voted Lalonde, but he certainly has a lower ceiling than high end AHL option since he wasn't a high end AHL option this year. I was high on him but he was brutal this year and hasn't made strides defensively from what I understand.

Or if you speak of Flick well, at worst he is an AHL/ECHL tweener just like he was this year. That is just what he'll become if he makes no improvements.

I am excited to see what Nordstrom has to offer this year. He was pretty good in his role in the WJCs and other tourneys as well. But it is hard to judge players on stats in the SEL and I for one can't watch the games. edit- for some reason I thought Nordstrom was playing in Rockford this year but I guess not. I read on CommittedIndians that he was but it was wrong.

Nordstrom was beastly in the summer games and the WJC. He's definitely got some bottom-six NHL upside for us. I'll still take Flick over him though.
