I'd love to get tarnstrom. In my mind, he'd be an upgrade on skoula. Not a huge upgrade, but an upgrade none-theless. I don't see any way that chicago(berard) deal goes through. Also, if the aves had wanted him, why wouldn't we just have signed him before chicago did?

the only 1 i could see happening is the first one, because i dont think tarnstrom makes too much in order to make the pens want to trade him... i might be wrong...

Please don't make Ville Nieminen come back. There are few players that played for the Avs more overrated by avfans than that guy. Though Hinote is starting to become a close second.

I think he has been playing pretty well for the Pens too......

He's making 1.1 this year, 1.5 next. He'll be 29 next month, so not old by any means....but if the Pens wanted to trade him, I think it would be purely on 'buy low, sell high.' Any word if the Pens are close to a deal with Ryan Whitney for next year, or are they not worrying about that til after the season?

I have no idea who Stephens is, so I'll have to say no. If the Pens trade him, it will probably be for equal value as he is only making 2.5 million over 2 years. If he was put on Colorado's powerplay, I honestly think he could put up 60+ points a year, but he isn't reliable in his own end.
