News Article: Wild TV Schedule Unveiled

Pretty much same old, same old.

-72 games on FSN/FSN+
-9 games on NBCSN
-1 game on NBC

NBCSN games feature all the regular national opponents like Chicago, Washington, Pittsburgh San Jose, Dallas along with a couple surprises like St. Louis and Phoenix. The NBC game is February 17th against Detroit. It looks like the Wild are above the Wolves and Gophers in FSN/FSN+ games but below the Twins given the number of April late-season FSN+ telecasts.

I pay way more attention to all things hockey than I really need to.

Schedule releases are not one of them. I literally couldn't care less about it.

It means there is something to talk about besides a lockout.

Also for Felix and our Canadians, looks like there are 5 TSN games and other TSN2 gems. Also improved in the NHL Network category.

Observation #1: The two games in Nashville are on Saturdays. Very wonderful.
Observation #2: Wow. Tons of road games in November. 10/15 games.

They did. The Bruins game was as part of "Hockey Day in America."

Yet again, the national networks like the Xcel as just like last year, 7 of the 10 games are at home.

I will probably try to go and see that game in Dallas, as I might actually be in Houston at that time. Also trying to catch some Aeros games as company has couple season tickets to Aeros games.

Any idea which ones will be picked up by FS-Wisconsin, or how being in the Milwaukee market will affect me if I choose to get Gamecenter Live? I'm just afraid I'll be blacked out of everything.

I'm in the same boat so I'm wondering if I'll get games on tv or if I'll have to stream in my dorm. It's really more of an issue of convenience though.

Games in Milwaukee are on FS Wisconsin or the FS Wisconsin alternate channel (unless there's a Bucks and Brewers game on at the same time).

At least that's the way it was last year for the two companies I had (Time Warner and AT&T U-Verse.)

Since baseball and basketball seasons only overlap for a few games in April, chances are there will be about 65-70 Wild games on FS Wisconsin next year, assuming they do the same thing they did last year.
