Forsberg should have gotten another assist on Oscar Klefboms goal. 1+3 in four games from him on the scoresheet but in reality he had 1+6 in four games.

Hey guys, looking at picking up Patrick Wey as a free agent in a keeper league for my farm team. What do you guys see him ceiling at and what do you realistically see him settling in as?

Ceiling as a complimentary 2nd pairing guy and shutdown defenseman. Settles in as 3rd pairing stay-at-home defenseman capable of moving up the line-up when injuries occur. Not going to put up big numbers outside of maybe TOI. Unlikely to see PP time, but will likely kill penalties.

Unfortunately you guys don't have any OHL prospects outside of Tom Wilson, but here's a little blurb about what to expect from him this coming season.

Both those teams are SEL teams. Skellefteå was just in the finals of the SEL.

Are you saying that Cush has the other teams wrong, or that Forsberg got those stats playing against SEL teams?

Do the leagues mix for preseason? Leksands is still Allsvenskan, isn't it?

Forsberg was playing on Leksands top line tonight with Johan Ryno and Jens Bergenström. He was getting alot of PP icetime tonight and he really took his chance, controlling the powerplay which was awful last season for Leksand , 8% over the season. Really hope he continues getting powerplay and first line icetime this season, if he does, except big things!

Here is an article about Philipp Grubauer born in the hometown of my favourite team the Starbulls Rosenheim. Olaf Kölzig is talking about him in this article.

Now this is interesting. Herbert at 4, above Holtby? Stephenson at 6? Wey at 10?

HP lists always have a certain interesting "flavor" to them. Galiev was #2, above Eakin and Orlov, last year.

Schilling is a solid to above-average skater who is pretty mobile in every direction and gets good acceleration off his first step.
Quote:
Wey isn't a good skater, with an awkward stride that doesn't generate much power.

Quote:
Schilling is an okay puck-mover, but really not an offensive defender by any means. He can be a simple outlet passer and maybe make the occasional puck carry, but he's not a player to be leaned on for offensive production.
Quote:
His offensive skills are fringe as well as he's a basic first pass player who shouldn't be relied on for more than that puck-moving wise.
This seems pretty consistent with the reasons I gave (and had shot down here) for ranking Schilling above Wey. I overestimated Schilling's offensive upside, but that assessment certainly makes it sound higher than Wey's.
