Will any of this stay the same presuming the first part of the schedule gets scrapped? I don't remember back to '94-'95, so I'm wondering if they'll try to reset the whole schedule to recreate divisional/interconference/home and away balance on a shortened timeline.

I have a question actually, will MSG cover the Sabres or Rangers now? There are like 6 MSG's, but I'm not sure if I need to purchase the others.

Way too many national games for my tastes... I'd prefer Calgary's schedule (in that they show up 0 times on national TV)

Of course I'm the type of person that actually likes play by play and not all of this nitty background information going on during the game.

The Sabres games air on the regular MSG in their markets, and on MSG+ in the Rangers'.

You're in Buffalo right? If you have MSG in the Buffalo Area you'll get the Sabres games. Different cable/satellite providers do it differently. I have directtv, they black out the Rangers/Devils/Islanders here and put the Sabres on a NY-alt feed of MSG.

I'm glad HNIC is picking up the games against the Habs so I don't have to watch in French

Any chance someone else does radio for the game that aren't on MSG an RJ gets breaks? Or is his schedule set, barring lockout?

Ugh, this just means more of Emerick sucking off Crosby during a Sabres game regardless of Pittsburgh is in the game and The short, bald creep splooging all over his flavor of the month.

DRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIVE! /gag

I have TW. I have MSG and MSG+. Excited to watch the Sabres regularly now. I only got to see 4 or 5 games last year.

It's been confirmed that RJ will call all 82 games.

Except for 12/22

I agree though, this is way too much national for me. Annoying and wildly biased commentating aside, my DVR seems to be 50/50 for recording the correct channel for games that aren't on MSG.

Ah well, Canadian national TV doesn't count

Though seriously, that's probably one of the games that I'm disappointed that I'm missing on some sort of national TV, it'd almost be worth switching back to TWC just to get CBC again.

Honestly too, if NBC could broadcast the game like CBC did I wouldn't mind NEARLY as much if the Sabres were on them, but NBC's commentators and presentation and the wild hyperbole (I'm lookin' at you Pierre) that they like to employ just totally muddle the game and make it super annoying to watch.

Also my DVR hates recording those games as well.

That's funny, I was thinking the same thing about the US national games.

To whom it may apply, TSN also released their TSN and TSN2 broadcast schedule. Again a lot of Sabres games picked up. Not good if you don't have TSN2 like me as those games aren't included in the NHL pack.

so, that's 17 games (at least) that I won't be able to watch on Gamecenter Live? Strongly considering cancelling my subscription

I'm always torn on the national tv games. Not having RJ is a major down side. However, Comcast in Maryland refuses to offer the hd feed on the Center Ice package. You ever try to watch a hockey game in standard definition on a 50" tv?

Can anybody (yet) confirm whether or not any of this is going to stay the same presuming a lockout? I imagine if you lose a month or two of the season, you have to significantly shuffle the schedule around to try and restore home/away balance, divisional and interconference play. Not being able to remember back to 1994, I don't know for sure how the NHL deals with this.
