Haven't watched, so I don't know how competitive things are, but I'm glad to hear Gally is playing well.

I don't find he was that bad , I find he was a Markov-Light in his prime , although he is older now he can still be effective.
He is known for having mental lapses at times but if he can produce 5-10G/30-35A and
not be a total liability then I'd rather have him then Diaz/Weber.
In my view there is only one direction to go :

Markov-Gorges PP1: Markov-Subban
Emelin-P.K Subban PP2:Kaberle-Emelin/Weber
Kaberle-Bouillon
Diaz/Weber

Awards:
Mother of God. Team tanking has turned into P.K. literally becoming a tank, himself.

Gally looks cocky , and he isn't giving 110% during this important tournament , I'm dissapointed , I believe we should try to trade him now for a player I know will outproduce him...Nazem Kadri!

I only watched a little bit of the video but the kid sort of reminded me of Malkin when he skated with or without the puck. He might never be anything close to him career wise, but he looked good out there.

He just needs to make sure that he prevents cross crease passes. Other than that he wasn't brought in for his stalwart defensive play.

I've never seen more exagerated hatred on the Habs board than the one for Kaberle. He's key for us on having a balanced offensive D squad, he'll be more fit than last season and the defensive shortcuts are now over with Therrien and Daignault as coaches.

He did have a tougb season last year though. Imo the Campoli hate was even more exagerated. Funny that people LOVE Emelin but hate Kaberle and Campoli with passion...

Rookie D that managed to be top 5 in the league in hits among his position vs two veteran D that were performing much lower to career norm/salary. Not really that funny.

I don't hate Campoli or Kaberle. After all we have them to thank (and Gauthier) for Galchenyuk.

Something I forgot to mention from my observation: dat wrister. He can certainly rip one and he seems to be able to put a lot of weight into it.

In the back of the net , Galchenyuk reminds me of Zherdev skill wise (not an insult Zherdev has a boatload of talent).

It was filthy I'll tell you that. Stickhandled through the whole team.

He also had an other one earlier where he batted the puck in mid-air into the net I believe, according to the announcers, but it was hard to see due to the camera angle.

Lol. No. Even if you don't give Emelin the benefit of the doubt of culture shock, north american ice, he was still better than Campoli and Kaberle.

Those two idiots looked constantly like they've never played organized hockey before.

You could argue that he was better than Campoli, but Kaberle was clearly better than him, even defensively. I know this is a prospects board, but still.

95% of the time, I'd rather have Emelin on the ice over Kaberle

Hmm maybe they should pair a offensive dman with a defensive one eh? This forum could almost be confused with one that was filled with people who actually watched hockey.

I expect a lot out of people who ran MAB out of town because of his defensive play when he was paid league minimum, ran the PP like a champ and got overplayed by an idiot coach who will never see a head coaching job again. My bad.

That's why he was sometimes played with Emelin. Though, with our over abundance of puck movers I'm sure Kaberle and another offensive guy so they can run around in their own zone like idiots being outmuscled in the corner.
