The video makes me sick because it moves around so much.
It's even worse than watching up-converted SD on an HD TV.

mulle, did YouTube say that it detected that your video was shaky and offer to correct it?
It offered it to me once and I declined because I figured that it was what caused a few videos I've seen lately to act like that.

It must be a strange situation for young Kuznetsov to have two entities feel like they are "entitled" to his hockey skills.

You want an example of the purported Russian factor that makes some players slip? This is a prime example here. Washington takes him, with a history of bringing players over without a problem like in the case of Semin, Ovechkin, Orlov, etc. and when it turns out he would rather play at HOME where his family is located, make BETTER money than he would in the first three years of his NHL contract, and be BELOVED by his native countrymen all of a sudden he is viewed as a problem?

Any time you put a pick on a player all you do is put yourself first in line to be able to sign them. Kuznetsov is not a slave. I swear some people look at this situation like they are enlisting hockey slaves and to stay home, where its comfortable, is somehow illegal or shows a lack of character.

If the player is more comfortable at home, then he should play at home. If the NHL is not where he wants to play right now, he should play where he wants to play. I would be more angry at my GM for not finding out for certain where a player wants to be before drafting him than the kid, who was 17 when he was selected, not being able to make a decision right away.

The fact is that there are some good leagues outside of the NHL and players would rather play in a first league in Russia, Sweden, Finland, Slovakia, etc. than play in a second rate league like the AHL in North America. It's that simple.

not sure how this relates with Kuznetsov though, considering he would have never played in AHL and he dreamed to play in the NHL before being drafted..

Kuznetsov is also quoted as saying he would be in the NHL as soon as the conclusion of the Winter Olympics in 2014, so there is a chance he plays next year as well.

Ugh. Oh. He wants to go back to Russia when he turns 30?

CAPS PROSPECT DIVULGES FUTURE PLANS

Evgeny Kuznetsov is giving the Washington Capitals another headache.

Kuznetsov, drafted 26th overall by Washington in the 2010 NHL draft, told Russian website Sovsport.ru he will probably jump ship at 30.

“I think I’ll return to Russia from NHL when I’m 30,” the 21-year-old said.

The Capitals have yet to see Kuznetsov skate for them since using a first round selection to obtain his rights. The crafty forward has played the last four seasons with the Kontinental Hockey League’s Traktor Chelyabinsk.

Two weeks ago, Capitals general manager George McPhee told ESPN.com the team did not expect Kuznetsov for the start of training camp this fall.

So, it appears the absolute best-case scenario for Washington – Kuznetsov arriving in North America for the 2014-15 season and playing his whole NHL career for the Capitals – is limited to eight years.

Last season in the KHL, Kuznetsov registered 44 points in 51 games.

I don't see a problem. 6-7 years of Kuznetsov >>>>> anything else Washington could have had with the pick.

He'll be an elite NHL player.

i will believe it when i see him in a caps uniform but if he does come over at the end of this season and leaves at 30, i will be perfectly fine with it. 7 years of what appears to be an elite talent selected in the late first round is excellent value.

I just watched the CAN RUS semi final game from 2012's WJC...

I'm just blown away at how good this guy was a year and a half ago. His offensive skill-set really is elite. Unreal vision, great release, powerful and fluid stride, and excellent hands...

Cant wait to watch him play with Ovechkin.
