The Giroux thing was said by Jagr himself to reporters. Dont remember where I read it, but usually "silly rumors" arent started by the people themselves. All Jagr said was that he was going to try and get Giroux to play with him if there was a lockout.
Just to add about Couturier going back to the Q, his girlfriend is from Drummondville and he rented a condo this summer to train there. If he comes back with Voltigeurs (which I might hope ), it could be a reason
San Jose Sharks captain Joe Thornton and newly acquired New York Rangers forward Rick Nash recently shot down reports out of Sweden that they would return to Swiss League team HC Davos, whom they skated for during the 2004-05 lockout.
Couturier can't play in the Q, hes a 92, I am 100% certain he'll play for Adirondack
Not true, he'd a 20 years old player, and Voltigeurs would have to free one of the 3 spots for 20 y.o. player, which Ricard would be inclined to do if I understand correct.

Is Couturier even 20 yet. Guys that age go threw girlfriends like toilet paper.
Jagr mentioned quite often he would play for "his" team Kladno, along with Plekanec.
There are also rumours of Pavelec, Kaberle, Voráček or Eliáš joining in there, but Pleks and Jagr are "in". (some silly rumor even mentioned Giroux, but I don't buy that for a second)
Read in the paper that Taylor Hall wants to play in Europe if there is a lock out. Mentioned Switzerland as a possible destination. The paper suggested that Eberle could play for the same team as Hall.
But let me put it this way, these players will play in the AHL
ANA: DSP, Fowler, Sbisa
Boston: Seguin, Caron, Marchand
Buffalo: Enroth?
Calgary: Bartschi (Unless he tries to go back to Portland)
Carolina: Skinner, Faulk, McBain?
Chicago: Hayes
Colorado: Landeskog
Columbus: Johansen, Atkinson, Moore
Dallas: Oleksiak, Campbell, Bachmann, Benn?
Detroit: Smith
Edmonton: Hall, Eberle, RNH, Schultz, Petry, Marincin
Florida: Gudbranson
LA: Clifford, Nolan
Minnesota; Granlund, Zucker, Falk, Spurgeon, Kampfer
Montreal: No One
Nashville: Smith, Ellis
NJD: Larsson, Henrique, Josefson
NYI: Hamonic, Nino, Ness, Donovan
NYR: Kreider, Hagelin, Stepan, McDonaugh
Ottawa: Cowen
Philly: B. Schenn, Couturier
Phoenix: OEL
Pittsburgh: None
San Jose: None
St. Louis: Pieterangelo
Tampa Bay: Connolly, Aulie
Toronto: Kadri, Gardiner
Vancouver: Kassian, Tanev
Washington: Holtby, Johanssen, Orlov
Winnipeg: Burmistrov
And the other guys will play Junior and the 92's will go to the AHL and some stay in the WHL
I believe Stephen Gionta and Peter Harrold are on two-ways deals as well, and would be likely playing in the AHL. Unless you're just talking about ELC's.

I actually think Seguin would want to play in Europe. His defensive game is getting good and he was already in the top-30 scorers, I think he'd want some more competition...
Spooner-Seguin-Knight would be ****ing badass, though.
Ya well the same article you use to say the Sedin's are not going overseas also says Thornton and others in your table are also not going. Also surprised to see Swedish teams listed as I was under the impression that the league there decided that they would not be offering short term contracts.
