Anyone know something about this kid. Devils signed him to a tryout, but there's like no news anywhere about him.

He has good size and a decent shot. I think he would be considered a long shot to make it pro in NA. He could improve his skating and gets caught sleeping or flatfooted at times. He had mediocore numbers at best in the QMJHL. Plays a similar game to Korbian Holzer, not quite as physical though.

Devils oddly invited him to tryout, he's improved each year in the Q, so maybe we can invite him and hold an advantage if he progresses well next year.

They may see him as a project player. He has something you can't teach already , size.

He seems like he's going to be like Mark Fraser, or at least that's what I've read and heard about him.

Ya , they definately play a similar style game. I hope he proves me wrong and wish him all the best. Don't forget to keep me posted on how he makes out !

Raman has 13 points in 17 games with Albany this year. I know the Devils are jam packed at defense, but is there any chance he gets a shot?

Still messes with my head that this kid is making any type of impact in the AHL. When I saw him in the Q he didn't look like he'd have any pro potential really. He looked alright with Drummondville but even then, it wasn't anything overly special.

Glad to see him succeeding. He's your typical late bloomer.
