The Man, The Myth, The Hiller...'12-'13 Goalies Thread

I just went back 17 pages and didn't find any thread about Jonas Hiller (other than one with a not so nice title). So I figured I'd start a goalies thread. Considering that there may be a lockout and most of our goalies are European, it may be a good idea to keep track of them where ever they go.

Jonas Hiller just picked up his new mask for the year, hopefully we see pictures of it this week.

I swear that Hiller goes through more masks than any Duck goalie we've ever had.

I wonder how much of his salary goes toward buying and painting new masks. His in particular seem extra expensive because his masks are custom fitted.

LOL the Swype recommendation for a new also include bra. Gotta make sure to double check all the words no matter how good the autocorrect seems to be.

I like it. It shows that he's not superstitious, even if us fans blamed his Movember mask for the team's worst month in the history of the franchise.

I can't wait to see the new design, and hope we don't have to wait until next fall.

I wish he would of done better with that Movember mask. That thing was so awesome. It deserved an amazing W/L on its own.

The bottom part with all the "D's" on it looks like a little girl went to town on the mask with stickers.

He for sure doesnt have to pay a cent for his mask, he's the Best publicity a swiss airbrusher can dream of. There was a big hype when he got his first custom mask "tornado".
now the most goalies in switzerland go to the same airbrusher like hiller.....

Sign him up. Can you imagine Hiller with a great butterfly focused coach like Allaire?

Well, Hiller was infact here for the last few years of Allaire's time in Anaheim, and IIRC he has worked with Allaire a few times in different offseasons...

I bet his mask collection at home is ridiculous.

I still love that all black one though.

I would wait a while to completely evaluate our PK. It's a pretty small sample size with us giving up the second least in the league in a very small slice of the season. It can skew percentages.

This. Seriously are you guys gonna ride the hot hand with Fasth? Or is Hiller still the man in the pond?
