How can I improve my roster through trade?

Basically, looking at what I have right now, are there any positions of strength I can deal from that can help me go from what I believe is an okay team to one that can challenge the league? I was wondering most specifically if there's a package that could get someone interested in Matt Schaub.

QB- Drew Brees
RB- Maurice Jones-Drew
RB- Michael Turner
WR- Jordy Nelson
WR- Wes Welker
TE- Jason Witten
W/R- Reggie Wayne
K- Matt Bryant
DEF- 49ers

BN- QB Matt Schaub
BN- RB Willis McGahee
BN- WR Pierre Garcon
BN- WR Malcom Floyd
BN- TE Dustin Keller (likely on the way out through waivers)
BN- TE Coby Keener (pending waivers; separate transaction)

How many team league is this?

Your team seems to be fine minus some of your flex players. I would play the waiver wire heavy the first few weeks. Maybe look at Britt if he's still on waivers.

Just roll with it. McGahee will probably end up being your flex. You have the 2nd best fantasy QB, MJD and Turner always get a ton of carries, Nelson and Welker is an awesome combo to have, and Witten will be good to go by possibly week 2. If it's even a remotely deep league, you should have a top 3 team easily.

I'd definitely try to upgrade your RBs... not a big fan of either MJD or Turner this year. MJD is a big question mark because of his holdout, obviously, and Turner is going to lose some touches to JacQuizz Rodgers (Who I'm pretty high on this year).

10 teams. I don't even really know the scoring, either, whatever the standard is for NFL.com.

Would it be smart to drop Keller in favor of Mendenhall (riding McGahee and the starting backs until he returns), or Roy Helu? It seems like those guys, Jacquizz, and maybe Ronnie Brown or Felix Jones are my best options on the ground.

I don't think Mendenhall will do much this year, and it sucks to have him taking up a roster spot for half the year doing nothing. I think you could definitely drop Keller for Helu though.
