I got the email earlier this week about how our season ticket packages will be mailed out in mid September. I highly doubt that will be the case if the CBA isn't settled within the next two weeks.

I think it was at the corner of Broad and Raymond.
I patronized it a few times even though I do not like Starbucks that much.
The times I was in there it was clean and packed with customers-mostly office workers in Newark.

If the season does get get cancelled AFTER they send out tickets to STH, it will be a massive boon to my Devils game viewing room "ticket wallpapering" effort.

I wouldn't be surprised if our game tickets read Game 1, Game 2 and Game 3 instead of actual team / dates on them. It makes sense just in case games get canceled.

I don't think they'll mail them out until after the 15th and they know if we're having a season or not. I don't recall getting them any earlier than that before.

They sent out a full set of tickets in the fall of '94 before sending a second set for the shortened season. I would imagine that they used the middle of September language because that allows them to say the lockout disrupted the plans.

I wouldn't want them to mail out my season tickets until they know what games are definitely going to be played.

There has to be some sort of law or regulation that goes against that... I'm almost sure of it.

They do it for the playoffs lol.

I do think that's unlikely for regular season tickets anyway, they probably have to be printed either way before the 15th.

My buddies Knicks season tickets had it listed by game and not opponent last season?

No way they could list seasons by game number. Too many people would get confused. Playoffs are easy to figure out since it's marked by round and if you can't figure out which of the 4 home games it is than you probably shouldn't be at the game anyway.

Not true. The first 10 games last year were listed by game number. The remaining tickets he received after had the actual games listed on it.

There are a LOT of a stupid regulations in NJ about tickets, events, reselling, etc. I'm not well versed in them, I just assume that someone who's friends with a legislator at some point get shafted and made them make it official,

While not in a department associated directly with this, I was interning at MSG at the time and I believe this is correct. The lockout ended and the schedule came out a day or two later. It was essentially 10-12 days before the first games were being played if I remember correctly so it was an absurd turnaround. I think they did the first few games by number because it takes too much time to print, package, and send out everything with the updated information to every STH in that short of a span. It wouldn't surprise me too much if you printed your own tickets and it had the right info on it. But I don't think the hard tickets had all of the info right off the bat. The only game on the schedule that stuck from the original pre-lockout schedule was the Christmas day games anyway.

That makes sense. I did order Knicks ticket off StubHub for a game early in January and that had all the game info but I could see why the hard tickets didn't have them. You could do the first couple of games with game number but you can't do the whole season. I could just see fans and the arena running into issues when you begin to get into the 20's with game numbers.
