you have good eyes to see Sorensen dropping before the season begin...
Lol no, he seems little injury prone, he's in tough position with he's team as they are so deep, (possible) trade to a new team new environment where he may or may not click.
Just that many kids behind have a good chance to rise ahead of him. But this is just my speculation, and I'm wrong a LOTS of times .

here's what i'm thinking and why...
similar to his past draft, i wouldn't be surprised if teams make a run at defencemen in next years draft like they seemed to at this years draft. it almost seemed like teams were starting to understand the importance of having a top flight d-man on your team and getting the picture that it was getting tougher to sign or trade for one. so i feel that, after Seth Jones is the first d-man taken, that d-men like Rasmus Ristolainen, Robert Haag, Ryan Pulock, Madison Bowey, and Josh Morrissey will probably go higher than they were projected to.
Oh no another hockey nation that loses a star player. Any reason why?
First was Sorensen and now Burakovsky. Dang I feel bad for those nations because these players can really help them out.
His dad is swedish and happened to play in Austria for one season - the year Andre was born. So his birthplace is Klagenfurt in Austria, but he has no austrian roots or whatsoever. Nothing unfair or anything like that.

Correct. André was only in Austria for the first couple of months of his life.
He has lived in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and maybe even Italy longer than that. (Oh, and by the way: He was probably even conceived in Canada ;-) )
Regarding Nick Sørensen (the correct spelling of his name, since he is originally Danish), he played for the Danish national junior team when he was 15, but he then chose to go with Sweden where he had played for several years already.
I have to admit, that I don't even know if Nick Sørensen played in Denmark, but if he did it was probably before he turned 10.
good list, dont like seth over mack and dont like comrie over fucale
i think morrissey will go higher along with forsberg(assuming he figures reaches further to his potential)
great list though! makes me excited for some hockey that will be starting sometime soon

Every time someone posts a list like this they should provide a paragraph outlining:
- who they are
- how much hockey they watch
- what else qualifies them to make the list
Otherwise, why should I even bother reading your list? What are the odds that it's just based on hearsay?
I had the chance to read a lot of stuff that Seph wrote in the past and do I always agree with him? No. But Seph seems to me to be the kind of guy that can back up everything that he says and for that, I love reading him.

Ah you're going to make me blush, but I do have one problem. Not agreeing with everything I say.
Sergei Tolchinsky [Never seen him play, but a lot of hype]
Can't wait to see what this kid can do in the CHL. Smooth operator with the puck, but a bit undersized. Going to Whalers game on the 13th just to check this kid out.
I think Cammarata is a bit low. He will have to play himself out of the 15-25 range. Size aside his numbers were huge last year. Whether or not he gets looked over is another story. As long as he can improve by 14 points he will surpass Schwartz's USHL numbers.
Fasching is a bit high for me right now. There is a lot of specualtion on his abilities. I think he will reach them but if he does not, he should fall out of the top 2 rounds. If he reaches the heights many have invisioned for him, he could play himeslef into the top 10. I would almost have him on the outside looking in list at this point.
