All Jets talk (Jets Sack Sparano)

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...a-possibility/

So Rex where are those AFC East Titles, AFC Titles and SB Titles? I'm pretty sure we measure greatness by those things not by how much you can run your trap.

When Rex Ryan first took over in NY I liked him ,, Was like a breath of fresh air

But now a few years later I honestly cant stand when he opens his mouth ,, His brother seems alot more humble then him

Wonder if Rex and his antics are hurting his brother in his efforts to become a HC

I'm pretty sure he has no effect on Robs career, and Rob loves to talk just as much.

I think he is a good coach but he does go overboard on the cheerleading of his own players to the point where it creates too much comfort for them. He's done a good job with the D but the offense has continued to suck and I don't think they're going to do any better at all this season. I think they went all in on the wrong quarterback in Sanchez and with the way he cheerleads we'll never really know his real feelings about him till he's cut.

I like Rex Ryan. Met him at a Hawks game wearing a Hawks jersey. Won me over then and there.

I can't wait until that clownshoes organization finally finishes its collapse and people stop talking about them again.

Whoop-de-doo, they were the best losers in the AFC for two consecutive seasons and now have two half-quarterbacks. If they were in any other market other than NYC, nobody would be talking about those bozos.

Well he wore a Flyers jersey to that Canes vs. Panthers game in Raleigh until one of the Storm Squad members gave him a Canes jersey to change into. I guess he's a hockey fan, but I still can't fathom why he was at that game of all games. It's not like he has any ties to the area.

And let's not forget the whole foot thing.

He's just a very strange individual.

I think hes done okay, I mean the best in NY in my lifetime anyway, but even so they still have nothing to show for it aside from some AFC Title Game drubbings. He coaches in NY, eventually being OK won't cut it. Hell, Coughlin a SB Champ was still nearly shown the door.

He's also been interviewed at a Devils game and said he's a lifelong Leafs fan.

If you don't like what Rex said, you won't think Rob is any more humble:

His introductory press conference included these quotes:

"We're gonna be a great defense," said the 48-year-old Ryan who inherits a unit that crashed from ninth in the league during the NFC East title season of 2009 to 23rd in the debacle that was Dallas' 2010 campaign. "We're gonna 'sic 'em from the word go. We're gonna be multiple. We're gonna move our 3-4 defense around and get after people. ... The right guy (to make that happen) is standing here in front of you.

"Anybody can talk the talk, but I can walk it. I'm just gonna be myself. I don't know if I got I swag or not. I'm sure I do. I'm just gonna be me and that's usually been good enough."

"I'm here to do a great (expletive) job and you're gonna see that. I was guarded early (in the press conference), but that's not me.

"I'm an honest, hard-working guy, not exactly a picture of perfect health (or) a male model. But I'm a damn good football coach. I'm gonna be a strength, not a liability."

During the preseason on the Eagles:

Ryan took a not-so-subtle shot at Jackson's Eagles and their "Dream Team" status during training camp, calling them the "all-hype team" and saying that the Cowboys would (in more colorful terms) beat the Eagles.

After the game vs the Eagles in which the Cowboys lost:

This week, after Jackson said it was inappropriate for Ryan to crow, Ryan said he would relish any contact with Jackson and would seek to injure him.

He will not fear spouting off in the future: "Hell, I got my ass kicked. It's not the first time I've said something and gotten my ass kicked. Hell. I don't say anything that I don't really believe. Hopefully, this will be the last time it happens."

This preseason:

“I just think we’ll be better than I think we’re gonna be,” Ryan said a few minutes ago on the field. “We’re gonna be damn good.”

But like KingsHolyGrail noted, when was the last time you heard an NFL coach say "Well, we suck"

Jets blame media that they are a circus

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...rk-jets-circus

It can't be because that blowhard Rex Ryan ever runs his mouth could it? Before getting Tebow they already were a circus.

If they want to stop being treated like a circus, then they should stop wearing clown shoes all the time.

It should be a matter of when the market value of Jets Tickets goes down over this.

I love it....the Jets have thier own thread! Anyhoo, this morning my main man Skippy Bayless was waxing poetic on how the Jets are going to have the #1 rushing attack in the NFL & that Tebow was going to "do astonishing things as soon as he is named the starter by week 6".

Jets haven't won the Super Bowl since 1968, it's been mediocrity since then.
