CJAD reporting one of the people shot is dead. So this is then apparently a failed assassination attempt on QC's new leader Marois.

It wasn't me. Wow, I didn't know until I read your post, Krishna. I was in front of the TV when Marois was arriving to give her victory speech, but I didn't have the stomach to listen to her, so I shut it off. As I get the early edition of the paper at home, there was nothing about this there.
Serious stuff. He had an AK-47 and a Molotov cocktail, according to the Journal de Montréal, as well as a good stash of accelerant in his SUV. Are you guys exporting your crazies up to Canada?

Wasn't he wearing a bath robe or something...not that wearing one classifies you as crazy..maybe something else..but still doesn't sound like other than some rogue lunatic with a few screws loose. We don't need to export ..they are everywhere.
Just watched the end of the Roddick/Del Potro match, and Roddick's career to boot. It was kinda sad. Dude had a great career, lots of wins, but just the 1 major. Fate decided that he'd play in the time of the three headed monster of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. It's a shame that the rest of his game wasn't as awesome as his serve. I really thought he could've stopped Roger back in 2009 at Wimbledon.
It's not all bad though, he's still got Brooklyn Decker.
Tough to watch the U.S. men in tennis nowadays. Not a whole lot there since Sampras and Agassi left.
