Im sorry if everyone didnt understand what i was saying.
I was praiseing him for these moves, when it was said Erie would take McDavid i heard people on this site saying he wouldnt report to Erie.
With in minutes of Dansk being drafted people on this site and others said he would never report and what a stupid pick by Bassin. He just picked him to trade him to London.
I dont always agree with what Sherry does, but he has done one hell of a job this off season.
Hell i think the Otters will be a pretty good team and should have no problem makeing the playoffs this season and be a contender next year.

I have no problem with getting rid of him.
You watch him skate and he looks so smooth and the best skater on the ice most of the time. But he never seems to finish,so if the Russian kid is even decent id rather they keep him any day.

Did Brown make the team as a backup?

He is still with the team as of now. I would expect him to sent down as soon as dansk is healthy. Dansk will start and devin Williams will be the back up.

I am a Petes fan and wasnt sure why any team would want him as he only played a few games as a Pete and was always sent back down. I hope he gets the chance that he deserves and hopefully it all works out for Erie.

G Oscar Dansk was in Columbus today, but not on the ice. Instead, he was seen by team doctors to determine if he needs knee surgery. He suffered the injury last month at an evaluation camp in Lake Placid, N.Y. As of late afternoon, a decision had not been made. Dansk will play for Erie of the OHL this season.

I read this earlier today and it has me a little concerned. Lets hope he does not need surgery because that would be a huge loss before the season has even began.

Seemed to be pretty similar to what it has been. Obviously no Fox or Dansk, but it seems there was no Pelech, Kuleshov, Olden, I do not think Donnay played either but not sure on him. Brown also started in goal and played the whole game..

McDavid is a phenomenal forward but lets make realistic expectations. 30-50 points seem more reasonable. McDavid will be faced with other teams best forwards and defensemen. Once exhibition is over he will face the true test of the league. Erie is improved team no question but they still aren't a top tier team just yet.

Seems Patrick Murphy has been cut but nothing official until Thursday. I'm a bit disappointed if this is true because I really thought he would make the team.

It has now been confirmed that Erie has cut Patrick Murphy and Blake Jones. They have a few more cuts to make but two seem to be rather predictable. One will be Brown once Dansk is healthy and the other will be a battle for the last import spot between Olden and Kuleshov.

Although I am hearing that it will likely be Olden but nothing to confirm this as of now.

That's actually pretty shocking, I had Murphy penciled in for this season full time. I just saw it on the site that he is no longer listed on the roster.

Nothing official but J.P. Labardo looks like he has been traded to Erie.

Business side of hockey one of the toughest lessons to learn. As per website, Mac has been released and Brown assigned to Coburg. Sad to lose a great personality. Best wishes for your future.

Last I heard it was a few weeks. I am not 100 percent sure but it seems he will be out for the season opener but hopefully he will be back the following weekend.

Definitely looking forward to it. (mcdavid) playing.
As a knight fan, donnay as well. Too bad Fox won't dress this Friday , but he'll be back.

Sondre Olden

Hearing Olden has tweeted @Olden92

Thanks for everything Erie! And thanks to the fans to! Good luck this season boys!

Wish there was a spot for him on the Spits. The combo of O/A and import is a difficult one............

He was placed on waivers a few minutes ago so he could be claimed for nothing.
