Anaheim - Boston

Just curious how this would be received by either Duck or Bruin fans. Keep in mind, this is just a bare bones proposal; more would have to be added. How much more be added? I'm not sure. But how about this:

Krejci/Seguin/Bergeron for Bobby Ryan?

Obviously, not all three centres, but which would be the most fair? Who is the odd one out for the Bruins? Which team says no?

Seguin

Seguin is a non-starter for the Bruins.

No way in hell do the Bruins even consider trading Seguin for Ryan, not happening.

Bergeron isn't being moved either, he is the perfect #2 center on the Bruins and is a Selke winner and can do anything and everything a #2 C is supposed to do. He is also a leader on the Bruins and is a lot more important to the Bruins than Ryan would be to the Bruins.

Krejci is the only one who would be gone in a trade, but even then, I don't know if the Bruins management has enough confidence in Seguin taking over the #1 C role right now.

I see to recall a number of Krejci for Ryan threads. If I remember correctly, Bruins fans were warmer than Ducks to the proposal--but it isn't a bad starting point.

The other two, I think, are non-starters.

Seguin definitely wont be moved, and I doubt the Bruins would even consider trading Bergeron.

Krejci is expendable because of the center depth on the B's.

The problem isn't that the value isn't fair, it's that it the Ducks need a 2nd center to play with Ryan.

Time for that weekly Krejci for Ryan thread.

Seguin for Ryan is funny and Bergeron will never be traded. Boston fans don't want to give up any more than Krejci for Ryan and Ducks fans want more.

This BUSH has been violated by so many times .. We will only be trading Krejci for right deal and this is the closes deal that makes sense YES .. No way anyone is getting Segs an up and coming Star OR Bergy basically does it all but wear the C on his jersey !!!

My opinion Ducks want more in ANY deal involving Ryan and the Bruins feel the same

The Only difference is that the Bruins are willing to trade up for the BETTER player specially on the RW but they are not totally SOLD that this is there guy maybe something better comes along and we as Bruins fans know how patent PC can be

Completely agree. I would be hesitant to deal Krejci because I don't know if I trust Seguin to fill his position right now, but I'd probably make the deal 1 for 1.

I am pretty sure we can stop with the Bobby Ryan trade proposals until the Getz and Perry situation is solved. Whether they are traded or resigned. No way Bob moves them before and ends up losing Teemu to retirement, Saku Koivu, Getz, Perry and Ryan within one year.
With is a realistic possibility.
so bobby is safe, for now.

Bruins fans will all tell you that they'd trade Krejci for Ryan 1 for 1, but this isn't an even trade at all.
I'm a Hawks fan, with no attachment to either team, but I think Ryan for Bergeron 1 for 1 is an even trade. Ducks get their 2C, Bruins get their 1W.

Ryan is better offensively, Bergeron defensively.

I don't think Boston would trade Seguin or Bergeron for Ryan. I don't think Anaheim would trade Ryan for Krejci.

I think Bergy has more value around the league than Ryan does and way, way more value to the Bs.

No deal.

You wouldn't actually do that as a Ducks fan...would you?

Seguin is going to be good but he won't be good enough to land that package.

With the uncertainty of Getzlaf and Perry coming into UFA and Ryan signed, why not explore a deal involving Perry to Boston?

Seguin would be a starting point guaranteed.

I have a feeling you're going to be alone on this one. I don't think any Duck fan, aside from yourself would even consider this.

I can only see the Bruins do a Krecji + for Ryan

He's probably the most 'expendable' player out of the 3

Bergeron is so important to the Bruins and Seguin just has such a bright upside to him, to big of a risk trading him, IMO at least. Krejci is great too but by default, I think he would be the one

Bergeron & Seguin needless to say wont be involved in a trade for Ryan.

Krejci?? Maybe.. Im not sold on Seguin being able to handle top line center duty (yet), Krejci fills the role nicely. Seguin can stay at wing, while being plugged into center occasionally to audition for the job.

Not to mention Ryan has his heart set on Philly..

Boston would be better off acquiring Iginla at the trade deadline for picks/ prospects.
