There's a couple people saying that Gatineau's Steeves is done for the season. That's going to hurt them in the standings.. Anyone else heard this? Can anyone confirm?

According to reporter Luc Chenier , he fell during a training exercise and the injury is to his knee. Must be serious enough to potentially end his season.
Haven't heard much about Kameron Kielly in Gatineau. How is he doing? Seems like ok stats in exhibition games.
I think he's just about a lock to make the team. He's done well.

I haven't seen this anywhere before now (but then again, I was camping the whole weekend).
If he is done for the whole season, I see us making a trade. Brassard seems promising, but if he has to play the whole season...
looks like it is for a while as Jeffrey Noonan has been claimed by BB..
We'll see for Phaneuf he should be just fine. Although he is young and inexperienced he showed solid potential last year
That sounds better than a Brassard/Bergeron combo...
I don't know... They've been decent so far (I've liked Brassard better), but I really hope that Groulx takes a look at some OHL/WHL castoffs. Hopefully we can find another DeSerres.

Bad team... He struggled at the beginning... And then a rebuilding Brandon dumped him.
Actually it's because he was an overager and Brandon had Matt Calvert , Aaron Lewdniuk and Jay Fehr , all elite 20 year olds up front. They also had a quality 19 year old starter in Andrew Hayes.
According to JFPlante via twitter , Robert Steeves is out for the entire season. That definately threw a potential contender a curve ball. Aparently they've signed free agent goaltender Michael Nishi. He played 17 games in the OHL with the 67's last season sporting a .902%. Not bad.

Conflicting reports...
He played in Winsor I believe... Should be a fun year.

He was a Spitfire, then he ended up with the Greyhounds. From there, he went on to Ottawa.
Either way, I'm overjoyed at this news. Nishi is a wild improvement over Brassard or Bergeron, and it will be better for their development to not be thrown to the lions just yet. Neither one of them is ready yet.
Hey guys, i live in southern Ontario and my buddy Dexter Weber plays for the Drummondville Voltigeurs. I would like to know how he is playing and what you think about him. I dont mind if its mostly negative as where im from just making a junior team is a accomplishment in itself.

Thanks Guys!
I don't know him, but I've asked someone who follows the team... he said he seems to have some offensive instinct along with some defensive flaws, and might not play very physical. That was from limited viewing (intrasquads) though, to consider with caution.
Obviously that's not what one would first think of when looking at stats ^^
