Why do you think you can't type umlauts in Microsoft Word?

I can, but 6 consecutive lines of text that looks like this doesn't help:

Cheers. I've had it in my head to name my next OT thread that for almost 2 years.

Just a standard Word Perfect // M$ Works document. It converts fine on every machine but one. I'm about to look for a fresh DL of the Batch Conversion Wizard to see if that helps.

My degree is in environmental engineering, my work experience is in civil (water/wastewater) and mechanical (pump manufacture) so I have a broad range of experience, but not a large amount.

Engineering is big here, I see constant posts for it. You shouldn't have too much trouble, especially considering how big the city is on "green" and how many companies employ people to work towards/on it.

Yeah, I'd like to get LEED certified and work in green building design. One of my major projects in college was on indoor air quality. A lot of buildings, at least in NY aren't very well ventilated which leads to fatigue, drowsiness, and a number of health issues.

NSFW

So, the kids talked to their attorney today. They love mom, they love dad, and while dad spanks them, he never hurt them.

Then I had a great visit with them where we had dinner at Friendly's then they went to karate.

And the d-bag didn't show while I was there.

It doesn't get much better than that right now.

The redesign of The Buffalo News' website has NINE ads on every page. NINE. For content they're about to start charging you for.

Yeah...

Time for some good old fashioned OT advice.

Here is a debate me and the Mrs are currently having:

As I've stated here I'm looking for a new job. (She is too actually) Now while neither of us is happy at present time we've worked for them for a long time and they've been there for us in the past.

So the debate is should we let them know we are actively pursuing other jobs because we are unhappy so they aren't blindsided when we turn in notice or just sit on it until we find other jobs?

(I have a feeling I know what most/all of you will say but hearing it will help )
