So I am curious...

... what was Ken Hitchcock's "big surprise" for the playoffs, anyway? All I heard about what this big surprise he had "was it Primeau? was it KJ? was it this was it that?" What in the bloody blue **** was it?

The surprise was "if you thought we were bad the last three months, wait till we play the Sabres for a 7 game series". Surprise! Who knew they could be THAT bad.

His surprise must have been that he was going to drop the F bomb and get blown out twice in the series.

i have no clue...i'm thinking his surprise was primeau in game 3, but that didn't happen because of the setback he suffered in practice the day or two beforehand....that's just a guess, if the surprise he had was in fact unleashed, then it was pretty crappy

I thought the surprise was Primeau was skating with the team during practices for Games 1 and 2, no?

Its all a part of the typical "get your hopes up" motif that this team has followed since i've been a fan
