Not surprised. Hopefully he finds some playing time in Jr B. Good kid, gave it his all, but simply no room this year.

Good luck to him. Not knowing how his grades are in school and considering the timing it's probably too late for him to catch on at the UofW. His best bet might be Belle River Jr C then college hockey next year. At least as a free agent he'll have a choice.

Did Braithwaite hold up/block the trade? Deciding what he wants to do - move again or maybe decide it's time to head to school?

When do the Spits have to sign their players by? If Braithwaite and Czinder are being traded do we have to burn A-Cards on them first?

With the release of McCann and the demotions of Kuchmey and Brown the Spits have 25 players left
I have not included Alonge and Braithwaite as part of the 25 player group
The breakdown is 2 goalies,8 D-men and 15 forwards
My guess would be 2 of Graham,Verbeek,Smith would be sent to Jr B,thus starting with 8 D until the situation clears re Alonge and Braithwaite

A good question. He does have a few options but perhaps it's a bit late for University hockey this year. Then again maybe he's been contacted by a pro team in the ECHL or a similar league where he can play and get paid. There also is the option of heading to Europe, see the world and get paid while you do it.....

Teams are allowed 3 floating cards until the NHL season begins so it would not surprise me that Braithwaite and Czinder would be on a floating card

Graham was sent to LaSalle yesterday as well. If he (WR) doesn't make another move today I'll be surprised.

Probably just a coincidence that Braithwaite is from Ennismore Ontario which is as close to Peterborough as Belle River is to Windsor. Oshawa is about 50 miles from Ennismore(Lakefield)
