Burmistrov to KHL - good or bad?

I've read that the KHL might take in some Russian players, but with the stipulation that they must stay the entire season. If that's the case, would it be a good idea (for the Jets) if Burmistrov went there?
Pros: if there's no NHL season, his development can continue.
Cons: if the season starts after a month, then we've lost a good player for the year.

If Burmi plays in the KHL then I believe a year of contract isn't burnt... If he plays in the AHL...

But, if he plays in the KHL he would probably be playing a full year there and would have a chance of not coming back (even if slim).

Either way, I see him getting top6 mins and some PPTOI (probz bit more in AHL). Either way, if he came back he'd most likely be a legit top6.

KHL has a new thing.

Can sign up to 3 NHLers and it won't count against the cap. Don't have to stay all year and it does NOT matter what nationality they are.

That's curiosity of Dmitry Chesneskov on twitter

I had seen some posts/tweets about the KHL "embracing" players in a lockout, i'm going to assume this is what they were referencing. A good situation for them no matter what.
