Granlund. Although Koivu is their number one, something tells me that Granlund will be their top power play option by the end of year while getting at least one of Heatley or Parise to play with throughout the year 5-on-5. That is all assuming the Wild's PP scheme isn't handled like Boston's, of course.

Not exactly sure what the Blues have in mind for Tarasenko but I would imagine it to be something similar to what the Wild have planned for Granlund. Probably 2nd line with a good amount of PP time. Both teams aren't known for being very offensive but I'll go with Granlund if he can stay healthy. I just think Granlund will have a little more to work with up front with guys like Seto and Bouchard. Than again, Bouchard will probably get another concussion and the Blues have more talent on the back end. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tarasenko finish with more points but for now I'll go with Finnish Baby Jesus.

Tarasenko. I think Granlund will take slightly longer to get accustomed to the NHL.

Granlund should have some good linemates if he's on the 2nd line. It will be interesting.

Granlund, better player, good chance for more ice time, plays on a team that believes in offense being part of the game.

Hitchcock doesn't usually just give free rein to rookie... There are gonna be growing pains for Tarasenko as he learns to play D in the Blues system

Granlund looks like he's already guaranteed a top 6 role, most likely with some PP time. Blues have strong forwards so Tarasenko probably starts the season on the 3rd line and won't get much PP time.

Gotta go with Granlund on this one. If Tarasenko puts up more points with less ice-time then he's truly remarkable.

Going with the guy who put up points in KHL ahead of SM-Liiga so I think Granlund may have a bit more difficult of a transition. But the two are really close as far as skill/value.

He will probably be 2nd line with Berglund and Perron(just a guess) and will definately see some PP time.

Tarasenko, bigger, better skater, just as talented (or atleast it's close), and his game will translate better.

I have heard Hitch mentioned the possibility of him playing with McDonald and Steen. He will see time on the PP as well.

And to answer to the main question, Granlund is my choice.

Granlund, but I'd still say Tarasenko has a better year.
