I completely forgot about this thread...

Doing write-ups was fun while it lasted but I've lost interest in this game, which is why I haven't updated in forever. But I was on vacation recently as well. If we have an NHL 13 thread for this, I will probably start doing this again.

I've seen a few. Don't be surprised to see 90+ OVR North Korean players also.

Started a Dynasty with Dallas. Gave Benn an upgrade and moved him to Center within the game. Now 86 overall.

Line up looked like this:

Jagr Benn Eriksson
Whitney Roy Ryder
Morrow Waddell Vincour
Dvorak Fiddler Eakin

Daley Dillon
Fistric Goligoski
Robidas Larsen

Lehtonen
Raycroft

Now, Here's where I made some unrealistic trades.

Trevor Daley, Stephane Robidas and a 1st round pick for Shea Weber (I know. pretending his contract year means something)

Mark Fistric and Scott Glennie for Pajaarvi

Brenden Morrow, Patrick Nemeth 2012 2nd and 2013 2nd for Alexander Semin. So my lines ended up looking like this:

Jagr Benn Eriksson
Semin Roy Ryder
Whitney Waddell Parjaarvi
Nystrom Eakin Dvorak

Weber Dillon (78)
Goligoski Larsen
Jo.Benn Rome

Lehtonen
Raycroft

They ended up going 44-28-16

Good for 5th in the West

Point leaders were:

Benn: 37g 49 assists for 86 pts
Eriksson: 34g 38 assists for 72 pts *69 games played*
Semin: 36G 26A for 62 pts

Honorable mention to Jagr and Whitney for putting up 59 and 57 points.

Weber paced the D with 14 goals and 33 assists.

Honorable mention to Jordie Benn with 8 goals and 32 assists *third pairing, second pp*

Eliminated first round by chicago.

Benn went 6 games with 4g and 2 assists
