And, as a turned out, the webisodes were directly cut from the actual episodes, so it's even worse than it should be.

Can't wait to watch Brodz run those stairs again

Where do the Granlund and Parise webisodes fit in?

Really a puzzlement how they're handling it this year.

There's no Granlund/Parise episodes. It was nice to see webisodes for those players though.

Well, anyway, best of luck to Heater and Mikko on making the roster this season!

My thoughts exactly. I really liked the format they had last season, focused on the team and prospects. I agree that a mix of both would be pretty interesting.

wow, this season is going to be so lame? A day in the life...really? thats NHL networks job. I want to see something like last years season, or something along the lines of "oil change" on NHL network.

The Wild aren't doing the best with TV related ventures this offseason. First they hired LaHairpiece, and now they kind of dropped the ball on season 2 of this.

I'm becoming more and more bitter. I felt so good on July 4th, now i literally have nothing to look forward to. Who knows how long the inevitable lockout will last, and this season of "Becoming Wild" is going to be lame as heck.

It's annoying too because those idiots probably think everyone loves this new format

I'm sure they'll do surveys or focus testing to see which was the more popular format.

And then completely ignore them in favor of what those morons as FSNorth want, just like LaHairpiece.

Finally got around to writing 800 words on Episode 1. Many good things about the episode but the lack of any context with the off-season left something to be desired.

Finally writing an episode review for "Becoming Wild" ep. 1 in the slim, slim chance anyone cares. No one? Good.

It's alright, we won't have to worry about watching any more of these awful episodes once the CBA expires.

Two things from the article pop out:

1. That this is a direct effort to promote the players, which makes sense. It's been a few years since they have tried and even us diehards have little to go on.

Quote:
That means "Becoming Wild," which the Wild is using to show off the personalities of its players in part because of its desire to be awarded a Winter Classic, will have to cease being televised on Fox Sports North. The remaining shows are supposed to be behind-the-scenes with Tom Gilbert, Niklas Backstrom, Dany Heatley and Mikko Koivu.
I hope it's something Wild TV continues to make an effort during the season provided there is one.

2. The Wild have added 4K season tickets in two months might be the most under-reported story about how low things were (and how much better they are now). Just a few years ago they had thousands in the Warming House and now apparently there are at least 4K season tickets available to buy.

I was hoping to see what OttawaGhost would do with a Heatley episode.

So, I guess it's safe to say "RIP Becoming Wild" after tomorrow's episode.

And it kind of feels like one of those "and nothing of value was lost" kind of moments as far as the series goes.

Just so let down...
