It depends I really want to be active I play almost every night as it's the only game I play on PS3. I also changed up my game I don't exclusively play RW anymore
I also play LW .
Some will remember that last season I only played RW (including drop-in and EASHL
my stats were [LW:24 games , 69 pts][C:5 games , 21 pts][RW:1140 games , 2975 pts].
I could get the season ticket... but it would literally only be for NHL, no other EA games...
In my college days, I'd have balked at the price. These days it costs me more to do just about anything else, considering its $6.xx/day. Going rate here for a beer is almost that much.
Anyway, I've got the pass, so I'll catch you guys around 7ish if my gf doesn't pull me away.

Considering I still don't really have a job and I won't even be on to play till like 10PM, is it worth the 25 bucks for weekly HUT packs and the extra time to start?
Also, how does season pass exactly work for someone who pre-ordered in the store?

Season pass ends at 6 am Tuesday so you'll still need to buy the retail copy after that.

Unless you love HUT for some reason, no, it isn't. I've got money to blow, and 12-15 hours of entertainment for $25 is cheaper than mini golf, regular golf, ice time, the movies, etc.
Season pass doesn't have any bearing on your retail game purchase. Your data will carry over from early access to retail launch, but you still have to buy the retail copy at release as you normally would had you not bought the pass.
That's pretty lame. At least with GW2, you had at least 24 or 48 hours to get your retail copy and enter in the serial code so it's all fine and dandy (because I started playing 3 days before the release date).

If you buy Boosts, the Season Pass is definitely worth it, IMO -- You will end up getting the Season Pass for about $7.50ish cheaper (or more if you buy all the boosts). So it would be like a $17.50 rental. If you went a rented a game at Blockbuster for three days its going to be nearly that price anyway. So think of it as a rental.
I bought the digital download, so I'll begin downloading at 12am Tuesday morning UNLESS I don't need to re-download (I've heard rumours that the advance copy will just work, I have no idea if thats true).
