Obviously he's at fault with the training camp thing as well. I mean, McPhee's player communication record is the best in the league bar none.

I like Hendricks. One of my fav Caps. But a team with 12 Hendrickses as forwards and 6 on D will never win anything. You need skill guys. And talent always goes together with controversy. Ovechkin, Crosby, Sedins, Jagr, Bure, Thornton, Kovalchuk. Very few talented players are also quiet, "simple" people: Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Backstrom, maybe Malkin.

The "drama queen" comment was in reference to his handling of the media. He gives all these conflicting, weird answers and just comes off that way. Putting my comment next to the other two you cited is disingenuous. I never said either of those things, but he is a drama queen. That doesn't mean I dislike him or want him gone.

And what about the post game interview? I'm sure he gave a post game interview so did he say the right things? Again for some it is very important that he says the right things in interviews.
Sure playing well is one thing but it is the little things that have nothing to do with actually playing the game like celebrating and interviewing correctly that really matter...
