Sigh, people... Just a few bumps in the road.

He is one of the best players outside of the NHL and he's only 20.

Hopefully our management gets our **** together, and we'll see him in 2 years! Which could mean 1 season till Kuz...

I think the biggest story here is that he selfishly scored an empty net instead of dumping the puck and turtling, aka playing hockey the right way. Can we really afford to bring such selfish nonteam players into our gritty dressing room that plays hockey the right grindly way? Imagine if we had someone like him playing for us this spring, say against the Rangers in game 5. I can't even fathom the horror.

Obviously he's at fault with the training camp thing as well. I mean, McPhee's player communication record is the best in the league bar none.

We need someone like Crosby who is such a team player, who can score that empty net goal, but instead just dumps it behind the net.

Anyone remember that during the debate about the Hart Trophy in 2010?

So much hating. He scored an ENG that sealed a win in a first game of the year against super-rival whose GM promised they will never lose a game to Traktor while he's there. He just shut them all up. He sealed it. He celebrated a WIN, not an emty-netter itself.

A 20 year old still has fun playing hockey.

"Drama queen! Trade him! I hope he never plays in the NHL!"

Because, yeah, you know, everybody should be like Matt Hendricks.
I like Hendricks. One of my fav Caps. But a team with 12 Hendrickses as forwards and 6 on D will never win anything. You need skill guys. And talent always goes together with controversy. Ovechkin, Crosby, Sedins, Jagr, Bure, Thornton, Kovalchuk. Very few talented players are also quiet, "simple" people: Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Backstrom, maybe Malkin.

The "drama queen" comment was in reference to his handling of the media. He gives all these conflicting, weird answers and just comes off that way. Putting my comment next to the other two you cited is disingenuous. I never said either of those things, but he is a drama queen. That doesn't mean I dislike him or want him gone.

You always hate "over the board" celebrations... until they celebrate a goal for your team.

Not just push ups, shot an arrow.

Like said, Traktor and Magnitka are huge rivals.

I'm confused. Do you mean that he should've ridden his stick? It seems like that could be what you mean, but it's hard to tell.

Did he celebrate appropriately? Because apparently for some that is very important.

And what about the post game interview? I'm sure he gave a post game interview so did he say the right things? Again for some it is very important that he says the right things in interviews.

Sure playing well is one thing but it is the little things that have nothing to do with actually playing the game like celebrating and interviewing correctly that really matter...

Matter to what? Obviously *****ing about celebrations is retarded. The "drama queen" comment has now been referenced absurdly by you and Mystlyfe. Maybe you'll actually address what I say about it. What exactly did I say his behavior with the media "mattered" to? What point did I make about it, other than that he was a drama queen? I implied nothing by the comment; it's a simple observation about his behavior. Do you really think it's not accurate?

It isn't all about you you know? Others have run him down for not celebrating correctly and not saying the right things in his interviews also.
