Ahhh, Girardi got into a shouting match with Joel Sherman after the game. The entire media will now turn on Girardi for this dastardly deed.
Who really cares? Screw the media. Sherman wouldn't shut the hell up, he was being a jackass. Sherman was probably the kid that never made it past little league; anything he thinks he knows is what he has seen on tv.

Here is what crew chief Mike Winters told me about Jerry Meals' obviously horrendous call:
“We looked at a replay. The replay we had, honestly, was not a very good angle and inconclusive. That was just a very, very close play. Until I see a definite replay, I really can’t give you any more than that. ... We saw a replay and from where I’m sitting, it’s inconclusive. It’s very close. That’s a very close play.”
I believe this is the same injury Jeter had last season and they emphasized that you cannot rush back from it. Bad job by the Yankees.
I don't know if it was said in the post game show (I watch on MLB.TV so I don't get to watch it) but wasn't Tex not feeling good before the blown call? It seems like he wasn't ready to come back yet.

nice to see a blowout win after that ******** last night. it's also been a while since they really had a blowout win like this.
